Vicon Opens New Office in Dubai, UAE

Middle East Expansion Reflects Vicon’s Commitment to Region

Hauppauge, NY: (January 14, 2016) Vicon Industries, Inc. (VII: NYSE-MKT) (“Vicon”), trusted designer and producer of video

security systems and high-performance IP cameras, connues to expand its global presence with the opening of a new United

Arab Emirates (UAE) oce located in the city of Dubai. The oce, which ocially opened on Sunday, January 10, is home to

Vicon sales professionals and emphasizes Vicon’s commitment to developing strong partnerships and providing local sales

support in the important Middle East market.

The oce will be managed by Jalil Neghza, the Internaonal Sales Director for Vicon Middle East, and he oversees an experienced

Vicon staff with in-depth knowledge of IP products. “The opening of our regional office in Dubai was driven by our ability to

secure major video-surveillance projects in the region and shows our wish to grow the business further in the coming years,” said

Neghza. “Vicon is now seen as a major player in the IP integrated surveillance segment and has a very exciting roadmap with

great additions to a very comprehensive product range.”

The oce expansion is part of Vicon’s new strategy to increase innovaon in the industry by collaborang with local partners and

end-users and provide more local experse in important global markets.
