Failure to note the following may result in an electric shock, a fire, or a malfunction.• Do not connect or disconnect the power cord with wet hands.• Do not use a damaged AC adaptor or USB cable.• Do not use them when they are emitting smoke or an unusual smell, or making noise.• Do not use them when any foreign substances or liquid such as water enters them.• Do not use the USB cable when any foreign substances such as dust is on the terminals.• Do not use any adaptor other than the specified adaptor for charging.Notes on Taking Care of PS-100 SeriesDo not attach the charging cradle when the product is wet. It may cause corrosion of the terminal section or a malfunction. When the product is wet from water or sweat, wipe it with a damp cloth, remove the moisture with a towel, and then dry naturally before attaching the charging cradle.2. Wearing PS-100 SeriesWear the product closely around your wrist without slack. Tighten the wristband if your pulse is not measured correctly while exercising.1.  Measure the circumference of your wrist, for example, using a string. Measure the circumference closely at the position indicated in the illustration without touching the ulna bone.2.  Place the string on the "Wristband adjustment hole nder" to nd the hole number. 3.  Unfasten the buckle of the wristband as shown below. 4.  Insert the band fastener into the hole number you checked in step 2.5.  Put your hand through the wristband and fasten the buckle. When wearing the product, make sure it does not touch the ulna bone. Detach the charging cradle from the product when charge is complete.Detach them by opening the part indicated with  outwards and push the product from the other side. Charge the product as shown below when using it for the rst time. The product turns on when charged. Make sure that charging is complete. 1.  Attach the charging cradle to the product. A Align the EPSON logos on the product and charging cradle and tilt the product as shown. B Insert the protruding latch on the charging cradle into the hole on the side of the product.HoleProtruding latch2.  Connect the USB connector.  f Using a PC Connect the charging cradle's USB cable to the USB port on the PC.Note that some PCs may not be supported. Try connecting the charging cradle and the PC directly without using a USB hub.  fUsing an AC adaptor Connect the charging cradle's USB cable to the AC adaptor, and then connect the AC adaptor to the power socket.We recommend using the specified AC adaptor (XXXX optional.) Charging may not be possible or the product may not operate if any other AC adaptor is used.When connection is established, the LED light on the product turns on.•  The LED is orange while charging and blue when charge is complete.•  Charging takes approximately TBD (1.5 to 2.5?) hours to complete; however, the duration varies depending on the condition.OrangeBlueYou need to perform initial conguration before using PS-100 Series for the rst time. You can use a smartphone to perform the initial conguration.Supported devices and operating systemsCheck the following website. http://Perform initial conguration such as creating the account and pairing using a smartphone.1.  Search your smartphone's application store for Epson PULSENSE View, and then install it.2.   Start Epson PULSENSE View.Make sure that the product is within one meter from the smartphone.3.   Follow the instructions in the Epson PULSENSE View guide.
