Radio Transmitter Module RT-32FCC/CE Instruction Manual We would like to thank you for purchasing this product. Please be sure to read the instruction manual thoroughly to assure its safe and proper use. With the radio transmitter module RT-32FCC/CE plugged into the meters radio compartment and a receiver (PocketWizardÂŽ products; Plus, Plus II or MultiMAX receivers/transceivers) connected to one or more electronic flash units, the meter provides a convenient system that enables one person working alone to measure flash output without the need of a sync cord. Pressing the measuring button simultaneously triggers the flash and measures the light. For the safe and proper use of this product Please use the device properly after reading the Cautions for Safety thoroughly prior to use. CAUTION: Indicates hazards or unsafe practices that can result in the personal injury or damage to your light meter. NOTE: Indicates a caution or limitation that accompanies operation. Please read the note to avoid incorrect operation. 1. Mounting (1) Turn the light meter power off. (2) Open the light meter battery cover. (3) Remove the connector cover. (4) Align the connector pins and set the Transmitter Module. (5) Carefully insert the Transmitter Module connector while holding it parallel to the surface of the main unit. (6) Confirm that the Transmitter Module is fully inserted and close the battery cover. CAUTION: * To prevent damage due to static electricity, release static electricity stored in your body by touching a metal object nearby (door knob, aluminum window frame, etc.) before touching the radio signal transmitter module. 2. Confirmation of operations Before using the device in actual photography, we recommend that you test it a number of times linked to the receiver unit that you intend to use. (1) Turn the light meter power on and confirm that wireless flash radio triggering mode mark is displayed on the LCD. (2) After connecting the receiver unit to the flash, turn the power on (both the flash and the receiver unit) and synchronize channel number of both transmitter unit (light meter) and receiver unit. (3) Press the transmitter unit (light meter) measurement button and confirm the triggering of the flash and the measurement.
