Installation Instructions
Adding the Outlet to any smart home hub involves the following two steps:
Step 1: Prepare the Outlet to enter pairing mode. (Make sure the Outlet is within 15
feet of your hub during setup.)
• Plug in the Outlet, the led beside the Outlet will blink slowly（once per 4
seconds）.

• Brand new outlet out of the box will automatically enter pairing mode for 30
minutes upon plug in. If one misses the 30 minutes window, power cycle the outlet
will bring back the pairing mode for another 30 minutes.
• If one is unsure if the outlet is in pairing mode, Led indicator will show the stauts.
If outlet is unpaired, indicator led beside of the outlet will blink slowly （once per 4
seconds）.
If outlet is paired, indicator led will keep last state before power failure. Indicator
On, means outlet’s output is active. Else indicator Off, means outlet’s output is
NOT activated.
Step 2: Scan and pair the outlet from smart home hub via mobile device App or hub
control panel. Please read the instructions provided by the specific hub system on how
to complete pairing with the outlet. If paired successfully, the indicator led where
beside of the outlet will blink 5 times quickly (once per second).
Operation of the bulb
• Turn On/Off output
Use the button beside of the outlet or mobile App / home hub panel to control the
output ON or OFF.
• Rejoin wireless network from the outlet
If the outlet is paired, plug in the outlet, then press and hold on the button beside of
the outlet 3-5 seconds and release, the outlet will automatic rejoin.
• EZ-Mode commission from the outlet
If the outlet is paired, plug in the outlet, the outlet will go to EZ-Mode and go on
3-minutes.The EZ-Mode will end automatically after 3-minute.
• Factory default reset
If the outlet is paired, plug in the outlet, then press and hold on the button beside of
the outlet more than 8 seconds and release, the outlet will go to factory default reset,
then the indicator led beside of the outlet will blink slowly to re-pair.
