General description
The general purpose of this Radar system is to detect vehicles. Both speed and distance of the vehicle are meas-
ured. Also a trigger output signal is present for triggering a digital camera to get a photo of the vehicle.
Absolute Maximum Ratings:
Supply voltage: -16V...+16V (security against polarity change)
Input voltage at RS422 inputs A and B: -7V...+12V
Output current at RS422 outputs: short circuit proofed
Operating temperature: -20...+70°C
Storage temperature: -30...+100°C
Precautions have to be taken against high humidity or water.
All electrical interfaces are connected to 24V/600W trans.-supp-diodes.
The supply voltage is secured against false polarity.
Electrical Characteristics:
Supply voltage: 9...16V
Supply current: 170mA (typ.)
Transmit frequency: 24.000...24.250GHz
Transmit power: 20dBm (EIRP)
Antenna pattern: horizontal: 3.5° (+/-1.75°) (typically)
vertical: 15° (+/-7.5°) (typically)
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and
