Transmitter Setup
The Transmitter Setup screen provides transmitter status
information and permits configuration and programming func-
tions for local telemetry channels.
The Transmitter Setup Screen is slightly different for 5-wit'e
and 6-wire transmitters.
Accessing the Transmitter Setup Screen
1. Open the patient’s BEDVIEW screen.
2. Click on Setup.
3 Click on Telemetry.

4. Click on Transmitter Setup.

NOTE: You can only activate/deactivate the transmitter buttons
for an individual patient if ‘Per Prmeni‘ mode was selected during
setup (sec page 19-21).
Open the Transmitter Setup screen (page 2-8).
Click on the OnIOff toggle button next to Transmitter

Programming the Transmitter
Programming
Port '
The Programming Port can be used to tune the transmitter to
an operating frequency or activate it spare transmitter.
Transmitter reprogramming is required in the following situa~
lions:
l The transmitter is changed to a selected receiver channel’s
operating frequency.
I The monitoring lend mode is changed.
The transmitter was repai red or corruptedr
To program (or reprogram) the transmitter:
L Open the Transmitter Setup menu (page 2-8).
2. Click on Program Transmitterr
3. Put the transmitter into the Programming Port. A popup
window displays.

Attaching the Transmitter to the Patient
1. Verify that the transmitter is programmed for the appropriate
monitoring mode.
2 Apply electrodes to patient (Appendix A. ‘Paitient Prepara—
tinn').
