Data may be delayed,corrupted (i.e., have errors) or be totally lost. Although significant delaysor losses of data are rare when wireless devices such as the AirCard 400modem are used in a normal manner with a well-constructed network,they should not be used in situations where failure to transmit or receivedata could result in harm of any kind to the user or any other party,including but not limited to personal injury, death, or loss of property.Sierra Wireless, Inc., accepts no responsibility for damages of any kindresulting from delays or errors in data transmitted or received using theAirCard 400 modem, or for failure of the AirCard 400 modem totransmit or receive such data.  Safety and HazardsDo not operate the AirCard modem in areas where blasting is inprogress, where explosive atmospheres may be present, near medicalequipment, near life support equipment, or any equipment which may besusceptible to any form of radio interference. In such areas, theAirCard 400 modem MUST BE TURNED OFF. It can transmit signalsthat could interfere with this equipment.Do not operate the AirCard modem in any aircraft, whether the aircraft ison the ground or in flight. In aircraft, the AirCard modem MUST BETURNED OFF. When operating, it can transmit signals that couldinterfere with various onboard systems.The driver or operator of any vehicle should not operate the AirCardmodem while in control of a vehicle. Doing so will detract from thedriver or operator's control and operation of that vehicle. In somejurisdictions, operating such communications devices while in control ofa vehicle is an offence.CAUTION - This device is required to comply with FCCRF exposure requirements for mobile transmitting devices.A separation distance of 20 cm (8 inches) or more must bemaintained between the antenna and all persons duringdevice operations to satisfy RF exposure compliance. Thedevice has been tested for SAR compliance with the antennaat a separation distance of 4 cm from the body of personsand 2 cm from a person's hand to demonstrate compliance.
