Do not install the Camera Control Unit in a location near heat sources, such as radiators or air-ducts, or in place subject to direct sunlight. 2. To prevent overheating, never cover the unit with cloth and never install in ill- Ventilated and nanow place. 3. Do not expose the unit to rain or place in an excessive moisture or dust environment. Do take immediate action if ever the unit do become wet. Turn off and refer servicing to qualified service personnel Moisture can damage the unit and also create the danger of electric shock. 4. To prevent electric shock, do not remove screws or cover. There is no user- serviceable part inside. 5. Do not operate the unit beyond its temperature, humidity or power ratings. 6. Make sure before install those pan/tilt head, camera housing or lens if they are usable. 7. One, may, through the TeleEye ?ro camera control Software, controls the remote site camera to pan left/right, tilt up/down, zoom in/out, adjusts focus and aperture, and switches on/cff washer and wiper of the camera house. Afterward, plug the other end of the cable into the AUX port on the back of the Camera Control Unit. Tighten the retaining screws to ensure proper connection. Step 2: Connect the zoom lens, camera house, pan tilt head to the 5—pin DIN plug, 4— pin metal plug and 6—pin metal plug respectively. Please refer to page 6. Step 3: Adjust the ‘CONFIG’ switch on the rear panel of the Camera Control Unit. Please refer to page 7. Factory default setting is ID=1. Step 4: Plug the round end of the AC adaptor into the socket marked ‘POWER’ on the rear panel of the unit. (The Camera Control Unit support 9VDC to 12VDC supply voltage) Step 5: Power on the Camera Control Unit, computer, and plug the pan tilt head, housing’s transformers to the main socket. You may also execute the main program from the floppy disk. Start Execution To start the Camera Control Sofiware, run the “PTZControlEXE” from the floppy disk or type at the DOS prompt: C:>cd\teleeye A C:\TELEEYE\>PTZCDntrol A The application program is shown below. COMl is the default communication port of the program. If you want to change the port, you may change it from the Event Window. You may now control the Camera Control Unit by clicking on the buttons. The corresponding functions of the camera Control Unit will be activated To exit the Camera Control Sofiware, click on the ‘Close’ button.
