At Peachtree Audio we design products that utilize a unique combination of analog and digital technologies that work together to provide a compelling music listening experience. The deepblueSKY combines a highperformance all-in-one speaker with the convenience of a wireless receiver to connect to virtually any mobile device or computer. The deepblueSKY also provides analog and optical digital inputs so you can connect up to three separate devices. The deepblueSKY features two 1-inch tweeters, two 3-inch midranges and a dedicated 6.5-inch woofer all driven by a second generation 440-watt power amplifier to provide amazing sound quality and output capability from a relatively small footprint. This manual is intended as an overall guide to your deepblueSKY. It explains how to set it up, connect devices and use it from the top panel and remote control. Notes: Phono input requires the use of a phono preamplifier. When using the headphone output of a connected device, that device’s volume control will affect the input level to the deepblueSKY. The maximum output level of the deepblueSKY will be limited if the volume control of the connected device is set to a relatively low level. C AC-IN: For connection to a compatible AC power source using the included power cord. D USB Port: For service use only. Note: Does NOT function as a USB digital audio input. E OPT Digital Audio Input: Accepts digital audio input from a Toslink optical digital audio output up to 96kHz. Toslink digital audio outputs are common on most digital audio sources including; disc players, cable boxes, Apple TVs, etc... TOP PANEL BUTTONS B Wireless: Push and release to select the Wireless network input. The LED will light blue for 10 seconds indicating the input is selected. For more information on the wireless network input, please refer to that section. C INPUT: Push and release to toggle between the AUX (blue LED) and OPT (white LED) inputs on the rear panel. The LED will light blue for 10 seconds indicating the AUX input is selected. The LED will light white for 10 seconds indicating the OPT input is selected. D On/Standby: Push and release to toggle between power on and standby modes. The current input LED will light for 10 seconds after the unit is powered on. E Volume “-”: Push and release to decrease the volume level by 1 step. Push and hold for more than 1 second to continually decrease the volume level. The volume level will continue decreasing until you release the button or achieve the minimum volume level. F Volume “+”: Push and release to increase the volume level by 1 step. Push and hold for more than 1 second to continually increase the volume level. The volume level will continue increasing until you release the button or achieve the maximum volume level. Notes: The five LEDs flash white while the volume level is muted. The blue LEDs indicate the volume level for 10 seconds after a volume button is released. Each LED represents ~20% of the volume level range. REMOTE FLAT PRESETS OPT AUX B On/Standby Button: With the AC power cord connected, this button toggles the unit between On mode (which selects the last input used) and Standby mode which lights the LED red. Note: the input LEDs will flash white in a sequence when the unit goes into on or standby mode. C BASS +/-: Increases or decreases the BASS (low frequencies). The front panel input LEDs will display the bass level with FLAT indicated by the middle LED being lit Blue. D VOL /: Increases and decreases the output level. Note: the volume level will be indicated for ~2 seconds using the 5 blue input LEDS on the front panel. Each LED represents ~20% of the entire volume range. E Wireless: Push and release to select the Wireless network input. The LED will light blue for 10 seconds indicating the input is selected. For more information on the wireless network input, please refer to that section. F Transport Control Buttons: Controls playback of compatible sources connected. selects the previous track or the beginning of the current track if playback is in progress. toggles between play mode and pause mode. selects the next track in the current queue or list. Please note that some USB capable devices and wireless streaming applications may not support these controls. This is not a malfunction of the remote control. If the source does not respond to these commands, it does not support them. G 1 2 3 4 5 6: Selects the wireless network input presets 1-6 after they are setup in the mobile app. For more information on setting up wireless network input presets, please refer to the wireless network input section. H OPT Button: This button selects the OPT input and lights the LED blue. Note: The inputs buttons will also toggle the unit into On mode when in Standby mode for faster access. I AUX Button: This button selects the AUX input and lights the LED blue. J MUTE Button: Mutes and un-mutes the RIGHT & LEFT Speaker and headphone outputs. Note: the currently selected input LED will flash white while the output is muted. K TREB Button +/-: Increases or decreases the TREBle (high frequencies). L FLAT Button: Sets the bass and treble control to “FLAT” (no increase or decrease applied). WIRELESS NETWORK The deepblueSKY offers an optional IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless network input optimized for audio. If equipped, this input can be selected by pressing the button on the front panel or remote control. It can also be selected by starting an audio stream using the MUZO Player application on a compatible phone or tablet. To setup the mobile device, please download the MUZO Player application on your compatible phone or tablet from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices). To setup the deepblueSKY for wireless streaming, please use one of the following methods: Setup method 1 - Web Browser 1. Open the Wi-Fi settings on the mobile device and connect to the decco125_XXXX network 2. Open a web browser and enter 10.10.10.254 in the address bar 3. A settings page will load. Select the desired wireless network and enter the password (if necessary) 4. Once the deepblueSKY is connected to the wireless network, “forget” or delete the deepblueSKY_XXXX network from the mobile device used to set it up 5. Make sure the mobile device is put on to the same network as the deepblueSKY Setup method 2 - WPS button on router 1. Press and hold the WPS button on the router until it enters pairing mode 2. Press and hold the wireless network input button on the deepblueSKY for more than 3 seconds 3. The router and the decco125 should find each other and complete the setup automatically Once the deepblueSKY is connected to the wireless network, utilize the MUZO Player application to select and control playback. The MUZO Player application can also control the deepblueSKY volume and the following input selections: USB, OPT and AUX. To setup the 1-6 direct access presets on the deepblueSKY remote control, navigate to the station or playlist you want to add and press the small icon in the lower right hand corner shown as a circle surrounding three dots. This will bring up a sub-menu to select this as a “Favorite” or a “Preset”. Select “Preset” then select 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. This will provide direct access for up to 6 of your favorite stations and/or playlists. If the wireless network input stops working; Press the wireless network input button and the On/Standby button simultaneously to reset the wireless network receiver without unplugging the unit from AC power. TROUBLESHOOTING & SPECIFICATIONS “I don’t hear anything playing.” Make sure the deepblueSKY is plugged in and turned on (LEDs lit after buttons are touched). Check that the correct input is selected; wireless (wireless LED blue), AUX (Input LED lit blue) or OPT (Input LED lit white). If the wireless LED is flashing blue, the input is selected but a wireless device is not currently connected. Check the following next: Make sure wireless is enabled on your device. Make sure your wireless device is connected to the same wireless network as the deepblueSKY. Make sure music is playing on your device (not paused) and that the volume on the device is not muted or set to a very low level. Many devices will pause playback if the wireless connection is lost. If AUX is selected, make sure the wired connection is fully inserted on the connected device and the deepblueSKY. If the connection is ok, check the volume level of the connected device (if using a headphone output) to make sure it is not muted or set to a very low volume level. If OPT is selected, make sure the wired connection is fully inserted on the connected device and the deepblueSKY. If the connection is ok, check the volume level of the connected device (if using a device with a built-in volume control) to make sure it is not muted or set to a very low volume level. Make sure the volume of the deepblueSKY is set to a comfortable listening level.
