1 Introduction
The Silent Herdsman® Base Station is a unit that provides the gateway between the Silent
Herdsman collars and the Management computer.

The enclosure is mounted on a structure using the 4 mounting lugs and the supplied
antenna is attached to the antenna connector.
The network cable is attached to the Ethernet socket on the enclosure using the connector
supplied to ensure that it is weatherproofed.

Outdoor Omni Antenna, 9dBi gain, 2400-2483MHz [SH-A-RTNC09O];

Outdoor Omni antenna, 15dBi gain, 2400-2500MHz [SH-A-RTNC15O];
Outdoor Omni antenna, 15dBi gain, 2400-2500MHz with 1 meter cable
extension [SH-A-RTNC15O1M];
Any antenna that is of the same type and of equal or less directional gain as an
antenna that is authorized with the intentional radiator may be marketed with, and
used with, this intentional radiator, guarantees that the antenna doesn’t have
standard electrical sockets will be made according to the Unique Antenna
Connection Statement.
