Dexen Level 2 User’s Manual 
Transmitter –Dexen Level 2 
This remote control SYSTEM offers 
the user a battery-operated remote 
control that operates most millivolt 
gas valves used in some heater 
rated gas logs,  gas fireplaces and 
other gas heating appliances. 
The transmitter operates on (2) 1.5V 
AAA batteries. 
It is recommended that ALKALINE 
batteries always be used for longer 
battery life and maximum 
operational performance. 
Before using the transmitter,  install the (2) AAA transmitter batteries into the battery compartment. (Use 
caution that batteries are installed in the proper direction) 
KEY SETINGS 
 - Operates unit to on/off 
position, Manually ON/OFF. 
    - Operates unit to 
flame position for Hi / Middle / Low. 
  - Operates unit to 
enable/disable Continuous Pilot. 
  - Operates unit to lock / 
unlock the key pad behind the 
transmitter. 
Note: The indicatory LED will be shined by key pressed during the key unlock.

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

ON OPERATION 
Press the    key the appliance flame will come on.   
OFF OPERATION 
Press the   key again the appliance flame will shut off.   
High / Low OPERATION 
When the   Key is first pressed the output will be on High. Then the   key is pressed 
again that will change into Low. A second push will turn the burner/valve into High. 
Continuous Pilot OPERATION 
When the   key is first pressed the output will enabled continuous pilot. Then 
the   key is pressed again that will disabled continuous pilot. 
Key Lock OPERATION 
When the   key is first pressed all the function key will be locked. Then the 
 key is pressed again that will be unlocked.
