Step 1: Power off all network devices. Web Browser Access Step 2: Connect the modem to the WAN port(s). Step 3: Connect the LAN cables. Step 4: Connect any USB devices (optional). Mobile Apps Step 5: Connect the power supply to the router. Step 6: Flip the power switch on the router to on. 10 110 Series Single-WAN Gigabit VPN Router Quick Start Guide Step 4: Verify Operation 2.4 GHz LAN WAN 1 Gbps Link/Act 5.0 GHz 1.A Power LED – AN-110-RT-2L1W-WIFI On: system is up. Off: system is down. 2. 1Gbps LED – On: port connected at 1Gbps speed. Off: port is connected at 10/100Mbps speed. 3. Link/Act LED – On: port is connected to another device. Blinking: packets are running through the port. Off: port is not connected to a device. 11 110 Series Single-WAN Gigabit VPN Router Quick Start Guide Step 5: Log In and Configure Make sure the Ethernet adapter on your computer is configured to DHCP mode or configure the adapter with a static IP address: • IP Address: 192.168.1.x (x=any number from 2 to 99) • Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Open a web browser and enter http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. Log in using the default credentials: • Username: araknis • Password: araknis If you can’t get to the login page, check to make sure your computer has been issued an IP address by the router. You can also claim the router in OvrC and use web connect. 12 110 Series Single-WAN Gigabit VPN Router Quick Start Guide Step 6: Quick Setup A Click the Quick Setup button in the left bar. B Use Quick Setup to configure: • System name • System IP address • WAN 1 and WAN 2 settings • DHCP servers • Port forwarding Use the menus in the web interface to change additional settings. 13 110 Series Single-WAN Gigabit VPN Router Quick Start Guide Other Access Methods: OvrC OvrC gives you remote device management, real-time notifications, and intuitive customer management, right from your computer or mobile device. Setup is plug-and-play, with no port forwarding or DDNS address required. To add this device to your OvrC account: A Connect the WAP to the Internet B Log Into OvrC (www.ovrc.com) C Add the Device (MAC address and Service Tag numbers needed for authentication) Web Browser Access Internet Mobile Apps OvrC Server 14 110 Series Single-WAN Gigabit VPN Router Quick Start Guide Pro Tip: Resetting the Router call out factory reset and reboot behavior (use 110 wirelss image) Reboot – Press and hold the RESET button on the back of the router for 5 seconds, then release. The router then reboots and the front status lights flash. Factory Reset – Press and hold the RESET button for 10–15 seconds until the status LEDs flash once. The router then resets to factory default settings and reboots. 15 2-Year Limited Warranty Araknis Networks® products have a 2-Year Limited Warranty. This warranty includes parts and labor repairs on all components found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal conditions of use. This warranty shall not apply to products that have been abused, modified, or disassembled. Products to be repaired under this warranty must be returned to a designated service center with prior notification and an assigned return authorization (RA) number.
