Keep the POWER buttonpressed without releasing. Theindicator (blue) starts flashing.When both indicators start flashingtogether again, release the button.This unit enters into pairing mode.• If pairing is not established withinabout 5 minutes, pairing mode willbe cancelled and this unit will turnoff. Thesensitivity of the Bluetoothcommunication will improve by turningthe direction of the built-in antenna tothe connected Bluetooth device.The communication distance shortenswhen the obstacles are between theantenna of the connected device andthis unit.•The following conditions may affect thesensitivity of Bluetooth communication.–There is an obstacle such as a humanbody, metal, or wall between this unitand Bluetooth device.–A device using 2.4 GHz frequency,such as a wireless LAN device,cordless telephone, or microwaveoven, is in use near this unit.•Because Bluetooth devices and wirelessLAN (IEEE802.11b/g) use the samefrequency, microwave interference mayoccur and resulting in communicationspeed deterioration, noise, or invalidconnection if this unit is used near awireless LAN device. Do not use any other ACpower adaptor since it may cause theunit to malfunction.Polarity of the plug•If you are not going to use this unit fora long time, unplug the AC poweradaptor from the AC outlet. To removethe AC power adaptor from the walloutlet, grasp the adaptor plug itself;never pull the cord.Others•Do not place this unit in a placeexposed to humidity, dust, soot orsteam, subject to direct sunlight, or in acar waiting at a traffic signal. It maycause a malfunction.•Do not use the strap in a place wherethe strap could be snagged, such as neara shredder or machine equipment.•Using the Bluetooth device may notfunction on mobile phones, dependingon radio wave conditions and locationwhere the equipment is being used.•If you experience discomfort after usingthe Bluetooth device, stop using theBluetooth device immediately.
