If this unit is placed on a desk or other surface that is made of metal, communication errors may occur with cards, and the unit may otherwise malfunction. If malfunctions occur, use the stand or keep the unit several centimeters away from metal surfaces. Notes Be careful of the ends of the card holder when attaching the holder to the unit. Your fingers may get caught between them, resulting in injury. Do not bend the card when inserting or removing it from the card holder. Doing so may damage the card. When transporting the unit, be sure to remove any cards from the card holder. Preparation 1 Check the package contents. Check that the following items are included in the package. If the unit is placed near an object that produces electromagnetic radiation, communication errors may occur with cards due to interference.
