4FCC/IC Radio Frequency ExposureThe available scientific evidence does not show that any health problems are associated with using low power wireless devices. There is no proof, however, that these low power wireless devices are absolutely safe. Low power Wireless devices emit low levels of radio frequency energy (RF) in the microwave range while being used. Whereas high levels of RF can produce health effects (by heating tissue), exposure to low level RF that does not produce heating effects causes no known adverse health effects. Many studies of low level RF exposures have not found any biological effects. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only. To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose your tablet device to rain or moisture. Do not use or store your tablet device in a location subject to heat sources, such as radiators or air ducts; direct sunlight; excessive dust; moisture or rain; mechanical vibration or shock; strong magnets or speakers that are not magnetically shielded; excessively high and low temperatures; and high humidity. Turning off your tablet device with the power button or the power switch does not disconnect the device completely from mains voltage. To disconnect it completely, unplug the AC adapter or the power cable from mains. The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. Audio and picture distortion may occur if this equipment is positioned in close proximity to any equipment emitting electromagnetic radiation. Observe the following precautions to provide adequate air circulation and to ensure normal reliable operation: Do not use the tablet device and/or the AC adapter while covered or wrapped in cloth. Doing so may cause medical devices to malfunction. Check for and respect airline restrictions on use of wireless capabilities. If use of the wireless function is prohibited on the airline, turn off the WIRELESS switch on your tablet device before boarding.Battery pack Do not charge the battery pack in any way other than as described in the user guide or as designated by Sony in writing.AC adapter Do not place the AC adapter in contact with your skin.
