Preparing the phoneSIM cardThe SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card,which you get from your network operator,contains information about your subscription.Always turn off your phone and detach thecharger and battery (if inserted) before you insertor remove the SIM card.PINYou may need a PIN (Personal Identification Number) toactivate the services and functions in your phone. Your PINis supplied by your network operator. Each PIN digit appearsas *, unless it starts with emergency number digits, forexample, 112 or 911.
