Hearing Aid
Compatibility
Your phone is designed for Hearing
Aid Compatibility (HAC) and uses
many settings for optimized use with
hearing aids.

You can choose the setting in the
phone to match the setting in your
hearing aid before making or receiving
calls in HAC operation.
To choose a Hearing Aid setting
•From standby select jÉåì } pÉííáåÖë
} the dÉåÉê~ä tab } ^ÅÅÉëëáÄáäáíó
}e^`/eÉ~êáåÖ=^áÇ=and choose an
option:
•lå – Use when your hearing aid is
set to T-coil mode.
•lÑÑ – Use when your hearing aid is
set to Microphone mode.

This model handset was designed
to comply with the requirements set
forth in Section 20.19 of the Federal
Communication Commission's rules
governing hearing aid compatibility
(HAC), for the reduction of RF
interference and magnetic coupling
(T-coil) to hearing aids. The
Microphone (M) rating and T-coil (T)
rating is defined and labeled on the
handset box. Devices meeting HAC
compliance must have a minimum M3
and/or T3 rating or above as defined in
the ANSI Standard C63.19-2006. The
(M) rating refers to lower RF emissions
levels of the handset. The (T) rating
refers to the magnetic coupling
between the handset and the T-coil
compatible hearing aid. Some hearing
aids are also provided an (M) rating,
and are more immune than others
to interference. To determine the
(M) rating of your hearing aid,
please contact your hearing health
professional. More information about

est doté de plusieurs paramètres qui
en optimisent l’utilisation.

Vous pouvez configurer votre téléphone
afin que les paramètres de votre
appareil auditif correspondent à ceux de
votre téléphone, avant d’effectuer ou de
recevoir des appels en mode HAC.
Pour configurer l’appareil auditif
•En mode Veille, sélectionnez jÉåì

Ce modèle d’appareil a été conçu pour
respecter les exigences décrites à la
section 20.19 de la règlementation de
la Federal Communication Commission,
qui régissent la compatibilité des
appareils auditifs (HAC) quant à la
réduction des interférences
radioélectriques et du couplage
magnétique (T-coil) des appareils
auditifs. Le classement Microphone (M)
et Capteur téléphonique (T) est défini et
illustré sur la boîte de l’appareil. Pour
être conformes à la norme HAC,
les appareils doivent correspondre au
classement M3 ou T3 ou plus, tel que
défini dans la norme ANSI C63.19-2006.
Le classement (M) correspond au plus
bas taux d’interférences radioélectriques
de l'appareil. Le classement (T)
correspond au couplage magnétique
entre l’appareil et les appareils auditifs
compatibles. Certains appareils auditifs
sont aussi classés (M); ils sont mieux
protégés que d’autres contre les
interférences. Pour connaître le
classement (M) de votre appareil auditif,
veuillez communiquer avec votre
professionnel en santé auditive.
