Usethe phone at your right ear. Do not carry the phone in yourbreast pocket. Turn off the phone if you suspectinterference. For all medical devices, consult a physician andthe manufacturer.DrivingSome vehicle manufacturers forbid the use of phones in theirvehicles unless a handsfree kit with an external antennasupports the installation. Check with your vehiclemanufacturer's representative to be sure that your mobilephone or Bluetooth handsfree will not affect the electronicsystems in your vehicle. Full attention should be given todriving at all times and local laws and regulations restrictingthe use of wireless devices while driving must be observed.GPS/Location based functionsSome products provide GPS/Location based functions.Location determining functionality is provided “As is” and“With all faults”. Do notcover the antenna with your hand as this affects call quality,power levels and can shorten talk and standby times.Radio frequency (RF) exposure and SpecificAbsorption Rate (SAR)When your phone or Bluetooth handsfree is turned on, itemits low levels of radio frequency energy. Internationalsafety guidelines have been developed through periodic andthorough evaluation of scientific studies. These guidelinesestablish permitted levels of radio wave exposure. Theguidelines include a safety margin designed to assure thesafety of all persons and to account for any variations inmeasurements.Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is used to measure radiofrequency energy absorbed by the body when using amobile phone. The SAR value is determined at the highestcertified power level in laboratory conditions, but becausethe phone is designed to use the minimum power necessaryto access the chosen network, the actual SAR level can bewell below this value. There is no proof of difference in safetybased on difference in SAR value.Products with radio transmitters sold in the US must becertified by the Federal Communications Commission(FCC). When required, tests are performed when the phoneis placed at the ear and when worn on the body. Flight modeBluetooth and WLAN functionality, if available in your device,can be enabled in Flight mode but may be prohibitedonboard aircraft or in other areas where radio transmissionsare prohibited. In such environments, please seek properauthorization before enabling Bluetooth or WLANfunctionality even in Flight mode.MalwareMalware (short for malicious software) is software that canharm your mobile phone or other computers. Malware orharmful applications can include viruses, worms, spyware,and other unwanted programs.
