Sending images to the computer Note: Steps 1 and 2 are required the first time only. 1 Install the latest software on your computer. Windows: PlayMemories Home Mac: Wireless Auto Import http://www.sony.net/pm/ http://www.sony.co.jp/imsoft/Mac/ Select [Wireless Auto Import]. 2 Connect the camera to an access point. Note: For more information, refer to the instruction of the access point, or contact the person who set up the access point. If the wireless access point has a WPS button. If you know the SSID and password of your wireless access point. Press the MENU button. Press the MENU button. Select 3 with [WPS Push]. Select 3 with [Access point settings]. Push the WPS button on the wireless access point you want to register. Select the access point you want to register, enter the password, then press [OK]. To use the One-touch functions (NFC) of the camera, a smartphone or tablet computer supporting the NFC function is required. Detailed operations are described in the Wi-Fi Guide. Note: Movies recorded in AVCHD format cannot be sent to a smartphone. Android/iOS not supporting NFC Playback an image to be sent to the smartphone. Android supporting NFC (One-touch sharing) MENU button 1 with [Send to Smartphone] [Select on This Device]. Select [This Image] with /, then press . The SSID and password are displayed, and the camera is ready to be connected with the smartphone. Playback an image to be sent to the smartphone. Select [Settings] on the smartphone, then select [More...] to check that [NFC] is enabled. (This is only necessary the first time.) SSID Password Touch the smartphone to the camera. Canceling sleep and the screen lock of the smartphone beforehand. Android Start PlayMemories Mobile. iOS Select the SSID displayed on the camera. Input the password displayed on the camera (first time only). Select [Settings] on the smartphone, then select [Wi-Fi] and select SSID displayed on the camera. (N Mark) is displayed Make sure that the on the screen of the camera. Continue touching without moving until “PlayMemories Mobile” starts (1-2 seconds). Touch the N mark of the smartphone to (N Mark) of the camera. If there is no N mark on the smartphone, refer to the instruction manual of the smartphone for the touch area. When not well connectable by NFC, see “Android/iOS not supporting NFC”. DIRECT-xxxx:DSC-xxx 3 Images on the camera will be sent to your smartphone. Note: The sent image is stored in Gallery of Android, or Album of iOS. Using a smartphone as a remote controller (One-touch remote (NFC)) You can monitor the image to be captured and shoot with your smartphone. Select MENU 1 [Ctrl with Smartphone] on the camera in step 2 to set up the camera, or touch the N mark of the smartphone to (N Mark) at the bottom of the camera. Communication distance: Approx. 10m/33ft (line-of-sight) Note: Communication distance may vary, depending on your surroundings/ smartphone.
