To insert a memory card
1Open the nano SIM/Memory card slot cover.
2Place the memory card in the memory card slot in the
correct orientation as shown in the illustration.
3Close the cover.
To insert the nano SIM card
If you drag out the nano SIM card holder while the
device is powered on, the device restarts automatically.
1Open the nano SIM/Memory card slot cover.
2Using your fingernail or a similar object, drag out the
nano SIM card holder.
3Place the nano SIM card in the holder, then insert the
holder into to the slot.
4Close the cover.
Make sure you insert the nano SIM card and the holder
in the correct orientation as shown in the illustration.
To turn on the device
Make sure that the battery is charged for at least 30
minutes before you turn on the device for the first time.
1Press and hold down the power key until the
notification light flashes once.
2Wait a while for the device to start.
To activate the screen
Briefly press the power key .
Screen protection
Before using your device, remove the transparent
protection film by pulling up on the protruding tab.
The use of non Sony-branded screen protection accessories
may prevent your device from working properly by covering
sensors, lenses, speakers, or microphones and can also
invalidate the warranty.

Rate) and safety guidelines, please read the Important
information provided under Settings > About phone > Legal
information in your device.

2Find and tap .
For best support available, we recommend connecting to
the Internet when using the Support application.
Transferring contacts and content
If you need help to transfer contacts, messages, photos and
other data from an old device to your new device, we
recommend that you use the Xperia™ Transfer application.

To view the CE mark
1Open the nano SIM/Memory card slot cover.
2Using your fingernail or a similar object, drag out the nano
SIM card holder.
3Drag out the label tray in the same way.
The CE mark and FCC ID are displayed on the label tray.
To view the regulatory compliance mark
Open the phone dialer, then enter *#07#.
To find your model number
From your Home screen, tap > Settings > About phone.
