It is important to try the differentfeatures of this phone thoroughly and in differentlocations, using your hearing aid or cochlear implant, todetermine if you hear any interfering noise. Consult yourservice provider or the manufacturer of this phone forinformation on hearing aid compatibility. If you havequestions about return or exchange policies, consult yourservice provider or phone retailer.Hearing Aid Compatibility RatingThis model handset was designed to comply with therequirements set forth in Section 20.19 of the FederalCommunication Commission's (FCC) rules governinghearing aid compatibility (HAC), for the reduction of RFinterference and magnetic coupling (T-coil) to hearingaids. The Microphone (M) rating and T-coil (T) rating isdefined and labeled on the handset box. Devices meetingHAC compliance must have a minimum M3 and/or T3rating or above as defined by the FCC in accordance withthe latest ANSI Standard C63.19. The (M) rating refers tolower RF emission levels of the handset. The (T) ratingrefers to the magnetic coupling between the handset andthe T-coil compatible hearing aid. Some hearing aids arealso provided an (M) rating, and are more immune thanothers to interference. To determine the (M) rating of yourhearing aid, please contact your hearing healthprofessional.
