Attention to detail is represented within every element of the design. It is within the amplifier where form truly meets function. The STR-DA4ES employs unique construction elements to ensure purity with power. The design used to create the amplifier within the STR-DA4ES is known as a “horizontally” opposed chassis. The output stage of the receiver is built with the utmost regard to purity of output. Left and Right signal elements are opposed channel by channel on the two separate heatsinks. Even the heatsinks themselves have been redesigned to eliminate resonance introduced into the output transistors in a design known as Sfin. This attention to detail is typically only seen in the world of high-end separates. Now the quality separates can be realized within one chassis.
