INSTRUCTION MANUAL Bluetooth Speaker SC-300 Thank you for purchasing your new AMADEUS LONGA Bluetooth Speaker. We recommend that you spend some time reading this instruction manual in order that you fully understand all the operational features it offers. Read all the safety instructions carefully before use and keep this instruction manual for future reference. English LONGA SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Read all the instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for future reference. Check that the voltage marked on the rating label matches your mains voltage. Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot or cold. Place the unit well away from heat sources such as radiators or gas/electric fires. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other sources of heat. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or product damage, do not expose this unit to rain. Always disconnect the unit from the mains supply before connecting/disconnecting other devices or moving the unit. Unplug the unit from the mains socket during a lightning storm. AUX-IN GB-2 Contents 1 x LONGA BT speaker 1 x Micro USB charge cable 1 x instruction manual 1 x AUX cable Charge LONGA BT speaker 1. Connect to a PC/Laptop/Mac or any 5V USB adaptor with the USB cable included. 2. The red LED will turn ON when charging, and turn OFF when fully charged. 3. Unplug the USB cable when fully charged. Note: The Red LED will flash and make a sound when the battery power is low (<21%). Starting LONGA BT speaker 1. After fully charged, long press the POWER button to turn on the speaker. 2. LONGA BT speaker is in standby mode after power-on, the blue/red LED blinks quickly. 3. LONGA BT speaker turn itself off for power-saving purposes if idle for 5 minutes. 4. Press any button located on the top to activate LONGA BT speaker from standby mode. 5. To manually turn off LONGA BT speaker, short press the POWER button again. GB-3 Pairing with Bluetooth enabled devices (Mobile phones/Tablets etc.) English 1. Keep the speaker and device within 1 meter of each other. 2. Hold down the power button for 2-3 seconds to turn on the speaker, the LED indicator will blink quickly in blue and red while the speaker enters search mode. 3. Start the Bluetooth function on your mobile device and look for “AMADEUS LONGA” in the Bluetooth device list (depending on the Bluetooth version of your device you may have to enter pass code ‘0000’). 4. After successfully connecting, the LED will change to solid blue. Note: 1. If the pairing was not successful, turn off the speaker and re-pair again. 2. After successful pairing, paired devices will remember each other so there is no need to pair again unless pairing information is deleted. 3. To pair with a new device, just follow steps 1-4 above after UN-pairing the existing device. Re-connecting to a paired device If the speaker does not connect to the last used device automatically, then you will need to select it manually from the list of devices on your mobile device. GB-4 Pair LONGA BT speaker with a different device First disconnect with existing device by either short pressing the BLUETOOTH button or switching off the Bluetooth connection of existing device, and then pair with another device according to the above 1-4 steps. Hands-free phone calls, make sure mobile phone is paired. 1. Press the Hands-free button to answer an incoming phone call. 2. Press again to end a call. 3. Use the Volume+/- buttons to change the volume of the call. Play/Pause 1. When the speaker is playing music, short press the Play/Pause button to pause. 2. Press again to continue play. Volume +/- and Previous/Next 1. Control volume via the Bluetooth device itself. 2. Short press the Volume +/- buttons to increase/decrease volume. 3. Long press the Volume +/- buttons to go to Next or Previous track. Equalizer: Pop/Classic/Jazz/Rock （under Bluetooth mode） 1. Press Pop to go to Pop performance directly. 2. Press Classic to go to Classic performance directly. 3. Press Jazz to go to Jazz performance directly. 4. Press Rock to go to Rock performance directly. GB-5 Connecting external devices(AUX port) This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. GB-6 English You can connect any music device to the LONGA BT speaker via the AUX port using the included cable. The speaker will not use the Bluetooth function while connected via this cable.
