this User Manual before using Legato Arc™ R72E.

How to Use
- In order to properly use Legato Arc™ R72E, the phone must be connected.
Bluetooth® Connection
- The Legato Arc™ R72E can be connected to two devices, such as a
mobile phone and a computer, at the same time.
Connection to Two Devices
| Easy Connection
1 Press the MFB (Multi-Function Button) for 2 seconds to activate power on.
The blue LED light indicates switching to Headset Search Mode.
2 Go to the Bluetooth® menu on your smartphone and search for new
devices.
Connect to “Legato R72E”.
3 If asked for an authentication number (PIN code), enter “0000”.
Once the connection is complete, a voice message will say, “Connected.”
4 When registering with another device, repeat steps 1-3.
The neckband headset will automatically turn off if not pai ed with a
device within 3 minutes upon turning on.
| Manual Connection

While the Control Button is pushed to (-), press the MFB (Multi-Function
Button) for 2
seconds to activate power on.
The blue LED light will come on as the device switches to Headset Search Mode.

Repeat Steps 2-4 under ”Easy Connection”.
| How to Connect to Two Devices
1 Connect one of the devices to Bluetooth® by following Steps 1 and 2
under “Manual Connection”.
2 Power off the egato Arc™ R72E.

While the Control Button is pushed to (-), press the MFB for 2 seconds to
power on.
4
Connect the second device to Bluetooth® by following the steps
under “Manual Connection”.
This will be the main device.
5 Reconnect the first devi e to Bluetooth®.
This will be the secondary device.
Note: When Legato Arc™ R72E is simultaneously connected to two devices,
the features will correspond with the main device.

| Power ON/OFF
- Power ON: Press the MFB for 2 seconds to power on.
- Power OFF: Press the MFB for 4 seconds to power o.
| Volume Control
- Adjust the volume by pushing the control button toward (+/-).
| Charging
- If the Legato Arc™ R72E is connected to the while powered on,
the device will turn o.
- The red LED light will indicate charging.
When the device is 80% charged, the red LED
light will turn purple.
- When fully charged, the purple LED light
will turn blue.
| Battery Status Alert
- Push the Control Button towards (-).
- 3 dierent LED colors indicate battery level
| Low Battery
- If the battery is running low, a voice warning indicating low battery
will be heard, and the red LED light will blink.
- Once the device is low on battery, it will power off soon
| Vibration Alert Settings

To turn vibration setting on/o, push the Control Button toward (+).
A voice guidance indicating the changed setting will be heard.
- When the vibration setting is turned o, the user will not be notified o
any incoming calls or lost reception.
- The vibration setting will be turned on upon initial use.

| Receiving/Ending a Call
- Press the MFB once.
| Placing a Call
- When a call is placed on the smartphone, it will automatically be
transferred to the headset.
- For some smartphones, the MFB should be pressed once to switch
to voice calling on the headset.(for 1second)
| Voice Dialing
- By pressing the MFB, Voice Dial will be enabled.(for 1second)
Note: If the smartphone does not contain a Voice Dial feature,
Redial is activated.
| Switching Calls
- If the MFB is pressed during a call(for 1second),the headset will
switch to the other call.
(Smartphone→Legato Arc™ R72E or Legato Arc™ R72E→Smartphone)
| Receiving Another Call While On a Call
- If there is an incoming call during an active call, press the MFB to
receive the new call and put the first call on hol .(for 1second)
- Resume the previous call by pressing the MFB.(for 1second)
- To end a call or both calls, press the MFB.
(as set for the phone)
*For “Call Waiting” service, ask a network operator.
| Rejecting a Call
- A call can be declined simply by pressing the MFB.(for 1second)

Muting the Phone
- Mute/unmute the phone by pushing the Control Button
toward (+/-).(for 1second)

Voice Call
- Voice Dial works with a primary smartphone (the phone from which
the call was made from).
Compatibility with Voice Dial varies based on the type of smartphone
it is used with.

Automatic Reconnection
- Once the
neckband headset
is on within Bluetooth® range, The
smartphone and Legato Arc™ R72E will automatically reconnect .
- Connect with another smartphone by selecting “Legato Arc™ R72E”
in its Bluetooth® settings.
|
When out of reach
- When the
neckband headset
is 10 meters away from smartphone, it will
vibrate with voice guidance every 40 seconds to alert its disconnection.
* The vibration alerts will not work if Vibration Alerts has been turned o
manually by pressions(+) on the Control Button for 1 second.
- When the smartphone and neckband
headset
is within the connection
range, both will automatically reconnect.
- If they fail to reconnect, press the MFB for manual reconnection.
- When the
neckband headset
is on, it will automatically search for
previously connected smartphones to connect.
- If reconnection fails, try again or restart by deleting its registry to prepare for
re-registration.
- When a smartphone (connected to play music during multiple connection
mode) stops playing or out of connection reach, the
neckband headset
will vibrate with voice guidance.
Once the device is within proper range, manually reconnect the device.

Legato Arc™ R72E is a wireless sender & receiver.
- In operation, the device communicates with a mobile device equipped
with Bluetooth® by sending and receiving radio frequency
electromagnetic field (UHF) in the f equency range of 2.402 to
2.480 GHz
| Precautions for Bluetooth
®

User environment that aects Bluetooth® communication range and
sensitivity is as follows
- When obstacles such as walls, metal, or human body are between
Bluetooth® device and the connected device
- When devices that use 2.4 GHz (such as wireless LAN devices,
cordless phones, or microwaves) are used around the product
Hearing loss prevention
Listening at high volumes can cause permanent damage to
your hearing.
Set the volume at a moderate level. Music at high volumes may
damage your hearing and easily go unnoticed after long periods
of time.
If your ears begin ringing or if voices become fainter, immediately stop
using the neckband headset and have the ears checked professionally.
Listening at higher volumes may correlate to faster hearing loss.
To protect your hearing, experts suggest the following:
- Limit prolonged usage of headset at high volumes.
- Avoid turning up the volume to hear surrounding noise.
- Lower the volume if nearby voices cannot be heard.
To set a maximum volume to a connected device, refer to the
User Manual supplied with the connected device.

| Battery Information
- If properly managed, a rechargeable battery has a long valid life.
If unused for long, however, battery life may be reduced after several
charges.
- Do not allow the battery to be exposed to extremely high or low
temperatures of 50℃or higher or -10℃or lower.
- To maintain the longest possible battery life, use the battery at room
temperature.
- When the battery is used at low temperatures, battery life diminishes.

-LegatoArc™R72E를사용하기위해서는휴대폰에먼저LegatoArc™R72E를
등록하는과정을거쳐야합니다.

LegatoArc™R72E는휴대폰과PC등의2개의장치를동시에연결하여사용할수
있습니다.
다중 연결
| 간편 등록
1 MFB를2초간길게눌러LegatoArc™R72E의전원을켭니다.
• 헤드셋검색모드가되면,파란색LED가켜집니다.
2 휴대폰에서블루투스®메뉴를찾고새로운기기를검색합니다.
• 검색된장치목록에서‘Legato R72E’를선택하여등록합니다.
3 등록하는과정에서인증번호(PIN코드)를물으면숫자
‘0000’
을
입력합니다.
• 일부휴대폰의경우인증번호입력과정이생략될수있습니다.
• 헤드셋/핸즈프리/스테레오헤드셋연결을시작하여
 (또는자동으로시작되어)연결이완료되면‘Connected’라는음성안내가
 들린후LegatoArc™R72E를정상적으로사용하실수있습니다.
4 다음에다른기기와등록할경우에도위과정을거쳐야합니다.
• 위과정을수행하는중에3분동안연결되지않으면헤드셋은자동으로
 꺼집니다.

5 이어서이전에등록/연결하였던장치에서연결을시도하여연결합니다.
 이장치가‘부연결장치’가됩니다.
참고)
LegatoArc™R72E가2개의장치를동시에연결했을경우주요기능은
 ‘주연결장치’를기준으로동작합니다.

| 전원 켜기/끄기
- 전원켜기:MFB를2초간길게눌러전원을켭니다.
- 전원끄기:MFB를4초간길게눌러전원을끕니다.
| 볼륨 조절
- 컨트롤버튼을(+)/(-)방향으로밀어볼륨을조절합니다.
| 충전
- LegatoArc™R72E의전원이켜져있는상태에서충전기를
 꽂으면,LegatoArc™R72E의전원이꺼집니다.
- 충전을하는동안에는빨간색LED가켜져충전중임을
 알수있으며,80%이상충전되면보라색LED로
 바뀝니다.
- 충전이완료되면파란색LED로바뀝니다.
| 배터리 상태 알림
- 컨트롤버튼을(-)방향으로1초간밉니다.
- 3가지배터리상태표시
| 배터리 부족
- 배터리의전원이부족하면스피커를통해배터리부족을알리는음성안내가
 들립니다.(빨간색LED점멸)
- 이때배터리를충전하지않으면전원이곧꺼지게됩니다.
| 진동 알림 기능 설정

진동기능을켜거나끄기위해서,컨트롤버튼을(+)방향으로1초간밉니다.
 변경시마다음성안내가나옵니다.
- 진동기능이꺼져있을때는,전화수신시나통신범위이탈시에도진동
 알림이발생하지않습니다.
- 헤드셋을처음켰을때는진동기능이켜져있습니다.

| 전화 걸기
- 휴대폰에서전화를걸면자동으로통화가LegatoArc™R72E로연결됩니다.
- 일부휴대폰은MFB를1초동안눌러서통화를전환시켜야되는경우가
 있습니다.
| 음성 다이얼
- MFB를1초동안누르면음성다이얼기능을사용하여휴대폰에저장된
 음성다이얼로전화를걸수있습니다.
 참고)음성다이얼을지원하지않는휴대폰의경우는재다이얼기능이동작할
 수있습니다.
| 통화 전환
- 통화중에MFB를1초동안누르면음성이전환됩니다.
 (휴대폰→LegatoArc™R72E또는LegatoArc™R72E→휴대폰)
| 통화 중 다른 전화 받기
- 통화중다른전화가걸려올경우,MFB를1초동안누르면통화중
 걸려온전화를받을수있고,기존통화는대기상태가됩니다.
- 다시MFB를1초동안누르면기존통화를계속할수있습니다.
