The Jet Set™ makes flying fun & easy! Justchoose the direction you want to fly and move the controller toggle. The ultra-light Jet SetTM is powered by a lithium polymer battery for long flights, features precision speed control and damage-resistant foam. TheJet SetTM also includes an integrated Controller/Chargerunit for convenient portability and easy handling on thefield. Perfect for both indoor and outdoor flights.1. Requires 6 AA 1.5-V alkaline batteries (not included).2. Open the battery door with a screwdriver.3. If used or spent batteries are present, removethese batteries from the unit by pulling up onone end of each battery.4. Install new batteries as shown in the polarity diagram (+/-) inside the battery compartment.5. PRE-FLIGHT ENVIRONMENT CHECKCHARGING YOUR PLANE1. Push theplane’sON/OFFSwitch to theleft to set theplane to OFF. 2.Set theController/Chargerswitch to OFF. 4. Push the ChargeNozzle all the way into theplane’s ChargePort located at the bottom of the plane.3. Flip the ChargeDoor open toreveal theCharge Nozzle. 1432FLYING INSTRUCTIONSPush theplane’sON/OFF to the rightto set theplane toON.Fully extend Controllerantenna. Push theController/ChargerSwitch right to ONto start the plane’sengine.PowerLED431255. During the chargingprocess, the charging LED will turn ON. When the Jet Set™ is completely charged, the charging LED will turn OFF. 6. Remove ChargeNozzle gentlyfrom the plane’sCharge Port andclose the ChargeDoor. FLYING INDOORS?NOTE: Always get a parent’s permission to fly your Jet Set™ indoors.Location – Fly in a wide open room, farfrom breakable items – an empty doublecar garage or unfinished basement aregreat options. Avoid flying near ventsand/or fans, as they may overpower theplane and make it difficult to control.When launching the plane, use partial throttle. Refrain from using the directional toggle while launching the plane.Launch  the plane against the wind and parallel to the ground.When preparing for take off, check the direction of the wind.Always launch your plane against thewind for the best take off and flight results.TIP: The wind will blow against your face, if you are facing the correctdirection.5Important Charging Information:• Before taking your initial flight, charge the plane for a complete charge cycle on your charger.• Depending upon the length of future play, you will not need to complete a full charge before each flight.NOTE: A shortened charge results in a shorter playtime (may take up to 1/2 hour to fully charge).ChargingLEDChargeDoor61. Location – Fly in a large wide open, grassy location that is free of buildings, trees, overhead wires, and other obstructions. Do not flynear people or animals.2. Weather – Fly on mild, sunny days. Do not fly in electrical storms, rain,sleet, snow or other adverse weather conditions. Do not fly if the temperature is below 7°C/45°F. In very cold temperatures, the plane willbecome fragile and the engine performance will decrease.3. Wind Conditions – Do not fly in wind. Winds may overpower the planeand make it difficult to control. In windy conditions, it may appear asthough you have no control over the plane.Holes in plugmust align withpins in plane.
