Only. Improper installation may result in the failure of the motor vehicle Tire Pressure
Monitoring System (“TPMS”) Sensor to operate properly.
Removal
1) The tire and wheel assembly removal must be followed as outlined in the vehicle
manufacturer’s Service Manual.
Installation
1) Inspect the sensor band and cradle and replace as needed.
2) Position the sensor into the cradle by inserting hinge end of the sensor into the hook end of
the cradle and pushing the opposite end of the sensor down onto the cradle. Ensure sensor is
fully seated into cradle ( a “click” noise will be heard).
3) Insert a new locking clip into the sensor.
4) Position Sensor 180 degrees from valve stem and tighten band.
5) The tire and wheel assembly installation must be followed as outlined in the vehicle
manufacturer’s Service Manual.
