REMOVAL
1) The tlre and wheel assembly removal must he followed as outllned In
the vehicle manufacturer‘s Service Manual.

Pan assembly sequence ls shown In Flgure 1.
1) Insert the Valve ponlon of the TPM sensnr In the we lve hale untll
Contact ls made between seal and wheel rlm.
1) when the valve is completely inserted. maintain the sensor contact
with the wheel rim and manually screw the nut for a few turns.
a) while maintaining the sensor and valve In pasiilon, engage the
socket on the nut and run the nut down to a tarque cf 8.0 Min (71 in»
Ist.
4] The sensor is currently mnunted accarding tn the fulluwing criteria:
Seal is pressed against the outer surlaee afthe wheel rim's hale.
Sensor housing is posltloned against the rlm‘s drop well and
contacting at least In one point.
Sensor housing should not exceed file lim's hump height.
5] The tire and wheel assembly lnstallatlun must he followed as
uutlined in the vehicle manufacturel’s Service Manual.
