with too much clothing or too warm of a room

without the use of loose blankets in the crib.
This 900 Mhz audio and health monitor lets parents monitor their baby‘s sounds and room environment for other parts of the
home. The parents unit features an LCD display that shows temperature and humidity in the baby‘s room. lt also has a timer for
feeding and medication schedules, plus a rechargeable battery, The baby‘s unit includes a convenient nightlight for checking
baby in a darkened room,
The “Healthy Nursery” Baby Monitor from Summer lnfant is the only baby monitor on the market that not only lets parents have
peace—of—mind while listening in on their little one, but also keeps a consistent check on their baby's room temperature and
humidity. Research has shown, and First Candle/SIDS Alliance and its Back To Sleep campaign partners all Cite overheating as a
risk factor for SIDS, While 5le is not preventable, you can reduce the risk. Be sure to follow First Candle/SIDS Alliance's nine risk
reduction recommendations provided on the side of this ”Healthy Nursery” Baby Monitor package.
A percentage of this purchase Will be donated to First Candle/SIDS Alliance to help babies surVive and thrive.

By following these nine simple steps, parents and caregivers can help their baby survive and thrive:

Use a safety-approved crib with a firm, tight-fitting mattress,
Do not smoke while you’re pregnant or allow anyone to smoke around your baby after he or she is born.
Remove all soft, fluffy or loose bedding and other items from your baby's sleep area.
Use a wearable blanket to replace loose blankets in your baby’s crib,
Do not put your baby to sleep on any soft surface (sofas, chairs, waterbeds, quilts, sheepskins, etc).
Room sharing is safer than bed sharing.
Do not dress your baby too warmly for sleep,- keep room temperature between 68 and 79°F,
.Educate relatives, baby Sitters and other caregivers about these important safety tips.
