	 Sunbeam is very safety conscious when designing
and manufacturing consumer products, but it is

when using an electrical appliance. Listed below
are precautions which are essential for the safe

•	 Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
•	 The temperature of accessible surfaces may be
high when the appliance is operating.
•	 Never leave an appliance unattended while 	
in use.

•	 Do not place an appliance on or near a hot gas
flame, electric element or on a heated oven.

exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit
supplying power to your appliances.

remote control system.

household and similar applications such
as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and

Using your Cafe Creamy™
Automatic Milk Frother
Before using your Cafe Creamy™ Automatic
Milk Frother for the first time, wash the milk
jug and plastic lid in warm, soapy water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly. Repeat with the
foam and milk mixing attachments located
underneath the power base.
Note: Do not immerse the power base in
water or any other liquid, or allow moisture 	
to come into contact with these parts. 	
See Figure 1.

Preparing Hot Milk Beverage with Foam
1.	Remove the milk jug from the power base.
2.	Open the lid of the milk jug and insert the
foam blender attachment into the base of
the milk jug.
3.	Pour milk into the milk jug, to a maximum
of 250mL, the level that is marked with
‘M’ for max. See Figure 3.
Tip: To create a frothy hot chocolate, simply
add 1-2 tablespoons of chocolate powder.

Note: The appliance does not have an on/
off button. Functions are activated through
pressing feature buttons located on the
control panel.

6.	Press the
foam milk button to begin the
milk foaming function. In approximately
1 to 2 minutes, dependent on the volume
of milk, the appliance will automatically
switch off and you will be left with hot,
foamed milk in the milk jug.
Note: The foam milk button selected will
remain illuminated during operation, and will
turn off automatically when the milk foaming
is complete.
Note: Only remove the milk jug from the
power base to pour using the jug handle, as
the milk jug body may be hot. Do not drink
directly out of the milk jug.
Note: Flashing control panel lights indicate
the appliance is cooling down. Please wait
approximately 4 minutes before restarting the
appliance.
7.	Follow cleaning instructions in the ‘Care
and Cleaning Instructions’ section of this
manual found on page 7, after use to
ensure long life.

Preparing Hot Milk Beverages

pressing feature buttons located on the
control panel.
6.	Press the
mix hot milk button to
begin the milk blending function. In
approximately 1 to 2 minutes, dependent
on the volume of milk, the appliance will
automatically switch off and you will be
left with a hot milk beverage in the milk
jug.
Note: The blend milk button selected will
remain illuminated during operation, and will
turn off automatically when the milk blending
and heating is complete.
Note: Only remove the milk jug from the
power base to pour using the jug handle, as
the milk jug body may be hot. Do not drink
directly out of the milk jug.

Preparing Cold Milk Beverages

3.	Pour ice-cold milk into the milk jug, to
a maximum of 250mL, the level that is
marked with ‘M’ for max. See Figure 3.  
Note: If you fill the milk jug above the
maximum level, milk may be ejected during
operation.
Note: The milk jug must also be filled above
the minimum level, as indicated by ‘O’
symbol, to operate properly.
4.	Add 1-2 tablespoons of chocolate powder,
instant coffee or an espresso shot.
5.	Plug the power cord into a 230-240V AC
power outlet and switch the power on and
place the milk jug on the heating element
on the power base.
Note: The appliance does not have an on/
off power button. Functions are activated
through pressing feature buttons located on
the control.
6.	Press the
mix cold milk button to
begin the cold milk blending function. In
approximately 3 minutes, the appliance
will automatically switch off and you will
be left with cold milk beverage in the milk
jug. Pour into a glass filled with ice to
keep cool.

Note: The blend cold milk button selected
will remain illuminated during operation,
and will turn off automatically when the milk
blending and heating is complete.
7.	Follow cleaning instructions in the ‘Care
and Cleaning Instructions’ section of this
manual found on page 7, after use to
ensure long life.

Care and Cleaning Instructions
Always disconnect the Cafe Creamy™ from
the power outlet before cleaning any parts.
Note: Before cleaning after use, wait for the
appliance to cool down.
Note: Do not immerse the power base in
water or any other liquid, or allow moisture to
come into contact with these parts. 	
See Figure 1.
Note: Do not place any part of the appliance
in the dishwasher.
Preparing for use
Before using your Cafe Creamy™ Automatic
Milk Frother for the first time, wash the milk
jug and plastic lid in warm, soapy water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly. Repeat with the
foam blender and milk mixing attachments
located underneath the power base.

Cleaning the Milk Jug and Blending Attachment
after use
After removing the milk jug from the power
base and emptying its contents, wait for
the milk jug to cool down. Then remove the
blender attachment from the base of the milk
jug. When cleaning the inside of the milk jug
and blending attachment, hand-wash only
using a sponge or a soft brush together with
normal dish washing liquid. Be careful when
cleaning the base of the milk jug where the
heating element has contact, as it must not
be scratched.
Cleaning the power base in case of spillage
If milk spills onto the power base, switch off
the power outlet immediately and remove the
plug. Using a damp cloth gently wipe spillage
from power base. Ensure appliance is dry
before plugging into power outlet.
Note: Do not use any solvents or abrasive
agents for cleaning. Do not use and sharp
or hard instruments such as steel wool for
cleaning.

In the unlikely event that this appliance develops any malfunction
within 12 months of purchase (3 months commercial use) due to
faulty materials or manufacture, we will replace it for you
free of charge.

Alternatively, you can send a written claim

On receipt of your claim, Sunbeam will
seek to resolve your difficulties or, if the

to obtain a replacement or refund.
Your Sunbeam 12 Month Replacement
Guarantee naturally does not cover misuse 	
or negligent handling and normal wear and
tear.
Similarly your 12 Month Replacement
Guarantee does not cover freight or any other
costs incurred in making a claim. Please
retain your receipt as proof of purchase.
The benefits given to you by this guarantee
are in addition to your other rights and
remedies under any laws which relate to the
appliance.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot
be excluded under the Australian Consumer
Law and under the New Zealand Consumer
Guarantees Act.

In Australia you are entitled to a
replacement or refund for a major failure and
for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or
replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to 	
a major failure.
