Please read before using this equipment
Note: You need the following batteries to power your boat:
1. At least one 9.6V rechargeable battery pack for the boat
2. One 9V battery for the transmitter
3. One battery pack charger
Preparation
Installing Batteries
Note: Any batteries purchased for use in this toy may pose a hazard to
children. Please check safety notice supplied with batteries before use.
In the Boat
You need a 9.6V rechargeable battery pack for the boat. Before you use
the battery pack, you must charge it using a special battery-pack charger.
1. Set OFF/ON on the side of the boat to OFF.
2. Use a coin to turn the battery compartment latches then lift the cover
up.
3. Put the battery pack in the compartment with the battery pack's
connector on the same side as the boat's matching connector.
4. Attach the battery pack's connector to the boat's matching connector.
Do not force them! They fit only one way.
5. Close the cover, then turn the latches to secure the battery
compartment.
In the transmitter
The transmitter requires one 9V battery.
For the best performance and longest life we recommend using an
alkaline battery and to never use a rechargeable battery.
1. Press down on the battery compartment cover and slide it in the
direction of the arrow.

2. Place a battery in the compartment according to the polarity symbols
(+ and -) marked inside.
3. Snap the cover shut.
When the transmitter's range decreases, replace its battery.
Cautions:
. Use only afresh battery of the required size and recommended type.
. Never leave a dead or weak battery in the transmitter.
INSTALLING THE TRANSMITTER'S ANTENNA
Insert the telescoping antenna into the slot on top of the transmitter, then
turn the antenna fully clockwise to secure it firmly in place.
Operation
Warnings:
A. Do not use your boat in strong currents, in salt water, or in any body of
water with large waves.
B. Never touch the propeller while it is spinning, and never put your
fingers near the propeller when the boat's ON/OFF switch is turned
to ON.
C. Never play outside during thunder-storms
D. Never play with your boat in strong winds.
E. When the boat goes outside the transmitter's control range, it stops.
Hold the transmitter as high as possible with the antenna vertical to
try to reestablish contact. If you cannot, you must move closer to the
boat to control it again, but be careful not to wade into deep water or
strong currents.
1. Pull out and fully extend the transmitter's antenna.
2. Slide OFF/ON on the boat to ON.
3. Use the transmitter's speed control trigger and steering wheel to drive
and steer the boat.
a. Pull the trigger to the left to move forward.
b. Pull the trigger to the right to move backward.
c. Turn the wheel counterclockwise to move left.
d. Turn the wheel clockwise to move right.
e. Release the wheel to go straight.
NOTE : The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or TV
interference caused by unauthorized modifications to this equipment,
such modifications could void the user's authority to operate the
equipment.
4. When you fish driving the boat, slide OFF/ON on the boat to OFF.
Cautions:
. Do not leave your boat in the water when you finish playing. Water
might seep into the hull and damage electronic parts.
