Wireless Mouse Manual Introduction Congratulation on your purchase of the Sunrex wireless mouse. The mouse combine RF and new optical technology, reduce the tolerance of clean mouse ball and wire mouse interference. You can use mouse freely and conveniently within 1.2 meters. Note: The actual effective distance may increase or decrease depending on the surrounding environment. System Requirements: To use the mouse, your computer must meet the following hardware requirements and run one if the operating systems listed below. Hardware: • PC with and Intel Pentium processor or equivalent and a hard disk drive • 64MB RAM or higher, depending on the operating system • USB interface Operating System: • Windows 98/Me/2000/XP Connecting the receiver and installing the default driver To connect the receiver to your computer, plug the standard USB end of the receiver into an available USB port on your computer. Alternatively, you can use the supplied USB extension cable to connect the receiver to your computer for an additional 0.45m of length. Your computer’s operating system identifies the receiver a “USB Human Interface Device” and begins installing the default driver. Follow any on-screen procedure to complete the default driver installation. Note: If you are running the Windows 98/Me operating system, you may be prompted to insert the Windows CD-ROM that came with your computer. You are now ready to begin using the wireless mouse. The wireless mouse has 256 identification codes that allow it to operate without the inference from other radio frequency devices. The wireless mouse and its receiver must be set to the same identification code to function properly. To set the identification code: 1. Using a bent paper clip or similar object, press and release the ID button on the top of the receiver. 2. Within ten seconds, press and hold the wireless mouse’s left and right buttons at the same time for two seconds, then release both keys. 3. Press any mouse key to capture the presenter’s new identification code. What do I do if the response time of the wireless mouse is slow or intermittently stops working? • Increase the distance between the receiver and the rest of your computer equipment. Use the USB extension cable if necessary. • Make sure the mouse id within 1.2meters of its receiver. • Increase the distance between the receiver and the base units of other wireless devices. • Turn off any wireless devices and their base units that are near the presenter’s receiver. • Replace the battery.
