11M-Pen liteThe M-Pen lite is a substitute for your fingers,offering you a lot of handwriting and drawing funwhen working with feature apps.Pen capPen clipDry cell battery(AAAA)Pen tipUsing your M-Pen lite for the first timeBefore using your M-Pen lite for the first time,unscrew the pen cap, take out the redinsulation pad beneath the pen cap, and thenscrew in the pen cap, as shown in the precedingillustration. You are now ready to use yourM-Pen lite.Remove the battery from your M-Pen lite if
2you are not planning to use it for a long periodof time. When replacing the battery, insert thenew battery into the pen with the "+" sign atthe bottom and the "-" sign at the top.Changing the pen tip1. Use forceps or your fingernails to clampthe pen tip.2. Pull the pen tip out with force. Clamptightly onto the pen tip so that you don'tlose your grip.3. Clamp the top part of the spare tip andinsert the bottom part into the pen. Pushit in until it is firmly in place to prevent itfrom becoming loose and getting lost.Follow the instructions and exercise cautionto avoid damaging the internal components ofyour M-Pen lite.When replacing the pen tip, hold it steady toprevent it from falling.Keep the removed tip out of the reach ofyoung children to prevent them fromswallowing it.The spare pen tip does not come with yourM-Pen lite. If the pen tip of your M-Pen lite isbroken, you can go to an authorized HuaweiCustomer Service Center to replace it. YourHuawei device only supports Huawei officialpen tips.2Safety informationThis section contains important information about theoperation of your device. It also contains information

Using the device in theseenvironments may result in circuit malfunctions.Ideal operating temperatures are 0°C to 35°C.Ideal storage temperatures are -20°C to +45°C.Extreme heat or cold may damage your device oraccessories.Do not expose your device to direct sunlight (suchas on a car dashboard) for prolonged periods.Keep the device away from sources of heat andfire, such as a heater, microwave oven, stove,water heater, radiator, or candle.Do not allow children or pets to bite or suck thedevice or accessories. Doing so may result indamage or explosion.Child's safetyComply with all precautions with regard to child'ssafety. Letting children play with the device or itsaccessories may be dangerous. The deviceincludes detachable parts that may present achoking hazard. Keep away from children.The device and its accessories are not intendedfor use by children. Children should only use thedevice with adult supervision.AccessoriesChoose only accessories approved for use withthis model by the device manufacturer. The use ofany other types of accessories may void thewarranty, may violate local regulations and laws,and may be dangerous. Please contact yourretailer for information about the availability ofapproved accessories in your area.Battery safetyKeep the battery away from excessive heat anddirect sunlight. Do not place it on or in heatingdevices, such as microwave ovens, stoves, orradiators. Batteries may explode if overheated.Do not attempt to modify or remanufacture thebattery, insert foreign objects into it, or immerse orexpose it to water or other liquids. Doing so maylead to fire, explosion, or other hazards.If the battery leaks, ensure that the electrolytedoes not make direct contact with your skins oreyes. If the electrolyte touches your skins orsplashes into your eyes, immediately flush withclean water and consult a doctor.
