961019 EASY‐GO TX303 AND EG30‐H HANDS‐FREE ENTRY SYSTEM WITH DYNAMIC IMMOBILIZER & SMART ANTI‐HIJACK SYSTEM FEATURES: 1. AUTO‐UNLOCK The system UNLOCKS the vehicle when the user is approximately 2 meters away and trigger waves are sent to the transponder to confirm user’s presence. 2 seconds after the system is UNLOCKED, the vehicle enters Immobilizer Mode. 2. DYNAMIC IMMOBILIZER The Immobilizer function will be automatically disabled when the system performs Hand‐Shake confirmation with the transponder upon inserting the key and turning ON the ignition. The vehicle CANNOT be started with just the key as the transponder must be present as well when attempting to start the vehicle. *The vehicle CANNOT be started unless all doors are closed, to change this setting, please refer to the Miscellaneous Settings & Wiring Diagram section below. 3. SMART ANTI‐HIJACK When Anti‐Hijack Mode is set to ON, if any doors are opened and closed anytime after Ignition ON, the system will check‐in with the transponder after 2 minutes. If the transponder is not present after 60 consecutive checks (approx. 40 seconds), the system enters Anti‐Hijack Mode, activating Starter Disable or Petroleum Pump Disable depending which is installed. * The use of Starter Disable or Petroleum Pump Disable is recommended instead of Engine Block Disable 4. PASSIVE LOCK While in Immobilizer Mode, whenever the vehicle doors are opened and closed, the system will check with the transponder every 15 seconds and LOCKS the vehicle when it is not in range. * If the user is going to work/stay around the vehicle for an extended amount of time, it is recommended to turn off all Easy‐Go features temporarily in order to avoid unnecessary drain of transponder battery (see below) Rev. 7.00 - Last Updated: 10/08/2007 5. AUTOMATIC RE‐LOCK The system will Re‐LOCK the vehicle if 1 of 2 conditions applies: 1) The user enters and leave the Detection Zone without opening the doors; 2) The user opens and closes the doors without turning on the ignition and leave. HOW TO TEMPORARILY DISABLE EASY‐GO FEATURES: At any given time, the user may perform the below operations to disable/resume all Easy‐Go functions: * Press the transponder button ONCE and within 3 seconds, press the transponder button AGAIN (Car Lamp flashes ONCE): ‐ Vehicle Locks/Unlocks; All Easy‐Go functions are temporarily disabled (until the next Ignition ON) * Press the transponder button ONCE ONLY (without pressing again within 3 seconds): ‐ Vehicle Locks/Unlocks; All Easy‐Go functions are resumed or will continue to function if not previously disabled. SMART TRANSPONDER LOW‐BATTERY WARNING: If the transponder battery is low, the vehicle will turn off all Easy‐Go functions and warn the user by the following actions: Upon System UNLOCK: Car Lamp FLASHES 5 times and horn HONK 5 times Upon System LOCK: Car Lamp FLASHES 5 times and horn HONKS 3 times. At this time, all receiving functions on the transponder will be turned OFF to allow the user enough time to change the battery. After the battery is replaced, simply press the transponder button once to LOCK/UNLOCK the vehicle and all Easy‐Go functions will be restored. Rev. 7.00 - Last Updated: 10/08/2007 SYSTEM LEARNING & CONFIGURATION: TRANSPONDER LEARNING: 1. Insert the key and turn to IGNITION. 2. Press and Hold Override Switch for 5 seconds, LED stays solid ON indicating Learning Mode. 3. Press the transponder button. 4. LED flashes ONCE indicating transponder learned, LED then stays on solid. 5. Repeat Step 3 until all transponders are learned by the system (Maximum of 4 transponders can be learned). 6. The system exits Learning Mode after 10 seconds, to exit at any time, turn the IGNITION to OFF. LED INDICATOR SETTING: 1. Take the battery out and put it back in. 2. With in 10 seconds, Press and Hold the transponder button for 3 seconds. 3. The transponder LED will now flash when communicating with the vehicle. TRANSPONDER RANGE ADJUSTMENT: *This adjustment can be done at anytime OR after the 10‐second period upon replacing the battery. 1. Press and hold the transponder button for 3 seconds. 2. The transponder LED flashes in the order of: ONCE (long), TWICE (medium), and THREE (short) times. 3. Release the transponder button AFTER your desired range is FLASHED. (i.e. Releasing the button after the LED flashes THREE times sets the range to SHORT) USER PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS: 1. Insert the key and turn to IGNITION. 2. Press Override Switch 5 times, car lamp flashes 5 times, car horn honks 5 times, LED stays solid ON, indicating Factory Settings Mode. 3. Press Override Switch ONCE to enter Dome Light Delay Setting (Car Horn honk ONCE) then press the transponder button to TOGGLE the feature ON/OFF. The LED flashes ONCE to indicate ON and flashes TWICE to indicate OFF. 4. Refer to the Programming Table below for the number of Override Switch PRESS for each setting.
