WARNING: Dispose of old batteries promptly and property. no not burn orbirry them.
CAUTIONS:
0 Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended types
- If you do not plan to use the Fire Engine fora week or more, remove the batteries from both the
transmitter and the Fire Engine. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic pans.
CONTROLLER BATTERY INSTALLATION
Use a Phillips head screw driver to remove the battery compmm cover located on the back of
the controller. Insert 1 “9V.” alkaline battery In the correct position as marked in compartment.
Replace cover and screw.
FIRE ENGINE INSTALLATION
1. Follow all operating Instructions and precautions to charge your '6V' rechargeable battery pack.
Note: most rechargeable batteries need charging when newly purchased
2. Insert fully charged battery pack Into battery compartment the (+) and (-) ends match. Use a
coin or Philip screw to turn the battery lock and secure the battery in place.
RAOIO CONTROL DRIVING
1. Slide ON/OFF to ON underneath the Fire Engine.
2. Fully extend the antenna on the transmitter and slide OFF/ON on the
transmitter to ON. The indicator on the transmitter llghts.
3. Use the transmitter's control lovers to move and steer the Fire Engine.
4. When you finish driving the Fire Engine, slide OFF/ON on the Fire
Engine and the transmitter to OFF.
FIRE ENGINE FUNCTION CONTROLS
Install fully charged rechargeable batteries Into the Fire Engine battery compartment and
transmitter In the correct position as Indicated. Install transmitter antenna as indicated.
Move power switches located underneath the Fire Engine and frontof thetransmltter to the "on"
positions, Fully extend transmltter antenna. Place Fire Engine on afiat surfaces
- To drive the Fire Engine. move “selector switch" to the left to select FlreEngIm operations.
. Emergency lights will flash with slren sound when Fire Englne ts moving.
a To drive forward, move “loysfick A" upward.
- To drive in reverse, move ‘ioystlck A" downward.
- To turn right, move “Joystick A” upward and “joystick B“ to the right.
. To reverse left, move “ioystick A” downward and “ioystick B' to the left.
- To reverse right, move “joystick A" downward and “joystick B' to the right.
0 To operate the ladder, move “selector switch" to the right to select ladder
operations. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with
