WALL E Remote Control Robot For ages 5 & up One "9 volt" and 4 "AA" batteries required ( not included ) WALL E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter, Earth Class) A revolution in remote control robot technology, WALL E features real working treads for maximum mobility. Just like the real Wall E, his head retracts and extends and his arms extend. Full-function remote control lets you steer him in any direction HEAD & ARM EXTEND AND RETRACT! Moves forward Moves backward FULL DIRECTIONAL CONTROL! REAL WORKING TREADS! WARNING: Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them. CAUTIONS: • Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type. • Never leave dead or weak batteries in the WALL E or transmitter. If you do not plan to use the WALL E for a week or more, remove the batteries from both the transmitter and the WALL E. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts. • • • • • • • • • • • Do not put the batteries in backwards. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: WALL E ❑ Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. ❑ Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. ❑ Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. ❑ Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. WALL E battery installation You need four AA alkaline batteries to power your WALL E. 1. Slide ON/OFF switch located on the back of WALL E to the "OFF" position. 2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover, then remove the cover. 3. Insert batteries in the correct position as marked in compartment. Replace the cover and secure it with the screw. 4. When the WALL E moves slowly or not at all, replace the batteries. In the transmitter 1. Slide ON/OFF on the transmitter to OFF. 2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover, then remove the cover. 3. Put the 9V battery in the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside. 4. Replace the cover and secure it with the screw. When the transmitter's range decreases, replace its battery. Getting started CONTROLLER 9V ON OFF 1. Remove tryme wire between WALL E and controller. 2. Install controller antenna provided as indicated. 3. Fully extend controller antenna. 4. Place WALL E on a flat level surface. 5. Slide ON/OFF button at the back of controller. WALL E in action 1. SOUND - Press and hear WALL E talk. 2. UP - Press and hold to extend head and arms. 3. DOWN - Press and hold to retract head and arms.
