SwipeSense Room Hub User Manual
Room Hubs use a single wall socket in each patient’s room making installation simple and
unobtrusive.
Hubs wirelessly sync with healthcare workers' badges for real-time, room-level hand hygiene
compliance data. They will record a room entry regardless of Hand Hygiene activity performed
by a healthcare worker.
Each hub has a 4-setting switch for adjusting the range of the hub for larger or smaller rooms.
Each hub has a unique ID that must be registered in the SwipeSense Web-Application and
linked to a location for proper tracking. Should a hub become inactive for more than a week an
alert will be issued.
The figure above shows the communication between a Badge and a Room Hub.
