The MC5725V wireless module is a powerful, cost
effective solution that easily integrates into laptops
and other host devices offering a complete wire-
less data solution over CDMA 1xEV-DO Revision A
networks. Embedded right into computing devices
for best possible performance, users will be ‘AirCard
Enabled™’ and receive the same high-performance
wireless wide area connectivity customers have

AirCard products. The MC5725V wireless module

COMPREHENSIVE TOOLS
The MC5725V offers premium functionality and
performance. Sierra Wireless’ fl exible Command
and Status (CnS) interface and key software applica-
tions support compelling data products. Extensive
software, applications and tools, installation and
activation wizards, IOTA clients, mobile IP support
and essential hardware drivers simplify the certifi ca-
tion and commercialization process. Measuring
51 x 30 x 4.5 mm and weighing in less than 12g,
the MC5725V also complies with new European
Union directives on RoHS (Restrictions on Hazardous
Substances).
The MC5725V is the latest addition to Sierra Wire-
less’ portfolio of products for EV-DO networks, build-
ing on nearly three years of product development
and refi nement since the launch of the AirCard 580
EVDO wireless wide area PC card in 2003.
