 Switchthemodemoffbeforeboardinganaircraft.

 Switchthemodemoffwhenyouareinhealthcarefacilities,exceptindesignatedareas.Aswithmanyother

typesofequipmentnowinregularuse,themodemcaninterferewithotherelectricalorelectronicdevices,

orequipment‐usingradiofrequencies.

 Switchthemodemoffwhenyouareneargasorflammableliquids.Strictlyobeyallsignsandinstructions

postedinafueldepot,petrolstation,chemicalplant,orinanypotentiallyexplosiveatmosphere.

 Whenthemodemisswitchedon,itshouldbekeptatleast15cmfromanymedicaldevicesuchasa

pacemaker,ahearingaidorinsulinpump,etc.

 Donotletchildrenusethemodemwithoutsupervision.

FCCRegulations:

Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCCRules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:(1)This

maynotcauseharmfulinterference,and(2)thismustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterference

thatmaycauseundesiredoperation.

ThisdevicehasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttoPart15of

theFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceina

residentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,usesandcanradiatedradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnot

installedandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.

However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallationIfthisequipmentdoes

causeharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipment

Caution:Changesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythepartyresponsibleforcompliancecouldvoidthe

user‘sauthoritytooperatetheequipment.



ThisdevicecomplieswithFCCradiationexposurelimitssetforthforanuncontrolledenvironment.Inorderto

avoidthepossibilityofexceedingtheFCCradiofrequencyexposurelimits,humanproximitytotheantennashall

notbelessthan20cm(8inches)duringnormaloperation.

IMPORTANTNOTE:

ThismoduleisintendedforOEMintegrator.TheOEMintegratorisstillresponsiblefortheFCCcompliance

requirementoftheendproduct,whichintegratesthismodule.20cmminimumdistancehastobeabletobe

maintainedbetweentheantennaandtheusersforthehostthismoduleisintegratedinto.Undersuch

configuration,theFCCradiationexposurelimitssetforthforanpopulation/uncontrolledenvironmentcanbe

satisfied.

Anychangesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythemanufacturercouldvoidtheuser'sauthorityto

operatethisequipment.

USERSMANUALOFTHEENDPRODUCT:

Intheusersmanualoftheendproduct,theenduserhastobeinformedtokeepatleast20cmseparationwith

theantennawhilethisendproductisinstalledandoperated.TheenduserhastobeinformedthattheFCC

radio‐frequencyexposureguidelinesforanuncontrolledenvironmentcanbesatisfied.Theenduserhastoalso

beinformedthatanychangesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythemanufacturercouldvoidthe

user'sauthoritytooperatethisequipment.Ifthesizeoftheendproductissmallerthan8x10cm,thenadditional

FCCpart15.19statementisrequiredtobeavailableintheusersmanual:ThisdevicecomplieswithPart15ofFCC

rules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:(1)thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterferenceand
