Read these simple guidelines. Breaking the rules may be dangerous or illegal.

◆ Charger and Adapter Safety
The charger and adapter are intended for indoor use only.
Do not expose the battery charger to direct sunlight or use it in areas of high
humidity, such as the bathroom.
Do not handle the phone with wet hands while it is being charged. It may cause an
electric shock or seriously damage your phone.
◆ Battery Information and Care
Use only manufacturer-approved battery and chargers specific to your phone model
since they are designed to maximize battery life.
Please dispose of your battery properly or take it to your local wireless carrier for
recycling.
Do not dispose of your battery by fire or with hazardous or flammable materials.
The battery does not need to be fully discharged before recharging.
When charging, please do not remove the battery.
Unplug the charger during lightning storms to avoid electric shock or fire.
Make sure that no sharp-edged items such as animal’s teeth, nails, come into
contact with the battery. There is a risk of causing a fire
Do not disassemble or short-circuit the battery.
Do not place or answer calls while charging the phone as it may short-circuit the
phone and/or cause electric shock or fire.
Keep the battery’s metal contacts clean.
Replace the battery when it no longer provides acceptable performance. The battery
can be recharged several hundred times before replacement.
Recharge the battery after long periods of non-use to maximize battery life.
Do not leave the battery in hot or cold places as it may deteriorate battery
performance.
Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions.
Use of extended backlighting, Mini-Browser, and data connectivity kits affect battery
life and talk/standby times.
The self-protection function of the battery will cut the power of the phone when its
operation is in an abnormal state. In this case, remove the battery from the phone,
reinstall it, and turn the phone on.
Explosion, Shock, and Fire Hazards
Do not put your phone in a place subject to excessive dust and keep the minimum
required distance between the power cord and heat sources.
Unplug the power cord prior to cleaning your phone, and clean the power plug pin
when it is dirty.
When using the power plug, ensure that it is firmly connected. If it is not, it may
cause excessive heat or fire.
If you put your phone in a pocket or bag without covering the receptacle of the
phone (power plug pin), metallic articles (such as a coin, paperclip or pen) may
short-circuit the phone. Always cover the receptacle when not in use.
Do not use harsh chemicals (such as alcohol, benzene, thinners, etc.) or detergents
to clean your phone. There is a risk of causing a fire.

Do not short-circuit the battery. Metallic articles such as a coin, paperclip or pen in
your pocket or bag may short-circuit the + and – terminals of the battery (metal strips
on the battery) upon moving. Short-circuit of the terminal may damage the battery
and cause an explosion.
General Notice
Do not place items containing magnetic components such as a credit card, phone
card, bank book or subway ticket near your phone. The magnetism of the phone
may damage the data stored in the magnetic strip.
Talking on your phone for a long period of time may reduce call quality due to heat
generated during use.
When the phone is not used for a long period time, store it in a safe place with the
power cord unplugged.
Using the phone in proximity to receiving equipment (i.e., TV or radio) may cause
interference to the phone.
Do not use the phone if the antenna is damaged. If a damaged antenna contacts
skin, it may cause a slight burn. Please contact a manufacturer Authorized Service
Center to replace the damaged antenna.
Do not immerse your phone in water. If this happens, remove the battery
immediately. If the phone does not work, take it to a manufacturer Authorized
Service Center.
Only authorized personnel should service the phone and its accessories. Faulty
installation or service may result in accidents and consequently invalidate the
warranty.
The power cord on this product will expose you to lead, a chemical known to the
State of California to cause (cancer) birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash
hands after handling
Do not disassemble the phone.
Do not drop, strike, or shake your phone severely. Such actions may harm the
internal circuit boards of the phone.
The data saved in your phone might be deleted due to careless use, repair of the
phone, or upgrade of the software. Please backup your important phone numbers.
(Ring tones, text message, voice message, pictures, and videos could also be
deleted.) The Manufacturer is not liable for damage due to the loss of data.
When you use the phone in public places, set the ring tone to vibration so as not to
disturb others.
Do not turn your phone on or off when putting it nearby your ear.
When riding in a car, do not leave your phone or set up the hands-free kit near to the
air bag. If wireless equipment is improperly installed and the air bag is activated, you
may be seriously injured.
Do not use a hand-held phone while driving.
Be careful that children do not swallow any parts such as battery or rubber plugs
(earphone, connection parts of the phone, etc.). This could cause asphyxiation or
suffocation.
Never store your phone in temperatures less than -15°C or greater than 50°C.
The Maximum SAR Value is 1.414W/kg.

3. Getting Started
Charging the Battery
Use the charger provided with your phone.
Warning! Use only the charger provided with the phone or authorized by manufacturer.
Use any chargers other than above mentioned may damage your phone or battery.
Plug the end of the adapter into the phone’s charger port. The battery power level
will move after the correct connection.
When the battery power level becomes static, the battery is fully charged.Disconnect
the adapter from the phone.
The charge time varies depending upon the battery level.
Install UIM card
Power off the handset,then remove the cover of the phone and the battery.
Insert the UIM card into the card slot.
Install the battery and the cover of the phone.
Install T-Flash card
Power off the handset,then remove the cover of the phone and the battery.
Insert the T-Flash card into the card slot.
Install the battery and the cover of the phone.

4. Basic Operation
4.1 Menu Operate
1) In standby screen, press [ Left Soft ] key to enter the Main Menu screen.
2) Using [ Navigation ] keys to choose the menu item, and press [ Left Soft ] key or
[ OK ] key to enter the item.
You could press the corresponding number keys according to the Menus Overview
to select the item directly.
3) Press [ Right Soft ] key to return to the previous menu item or quit
the Main Menu.
4) Press END/PWR key to return to the standby screen directly.
4.2 Make a Call
1) Type the phone number or select one contact in the phone book, then press Call
key.
2) To end the call, press END/PWR key.
Note: 1. In standby screen, press Call key to view the recent calls.
2. Type the speed dial number, press Call key to call the assigned contact.
3. In addition, you can make a call to message sender by pressing Call key during a
message check.
4.3 Note In Call
This function is a convenient feature which you can note during a call.
When you need, press [ Left ] key in the call could switch to use the call memo.
When you have saved call memo, you can find it in menu <Call Logs>- <Note In
Call>, then you can view, edit message, save, erase.
4.4 Loud Speaker
This function is a convenient feature which enables you to use loud speaker
When you need, press [ OK ] key in the call could switch to using loud speaker.
4.5 Receiving Calls
1)When the phone rings or vibrates (if the Vibrate Mode is enabled), press Call key
to answer.
• Or press [ Left Soft ] key, mute ringing or vibrating.
• Or pressing [ Right Soft ] key to cancel the coming call directly.
2)To end an answered call, press END/PWR key.
4.6 Call Waiting
While a call is in progress, you may hear two beeps indicating another incoming call.
When call waiting is enabled, you can put the active call on hold while you answer the
other incoming call.
This service should be provided by your service provider.
1) Press Call key to receive a waiting call during the first call.
2) Press Call key again to switch between two calls.
4.7 Speed Dial
Speed Dial allows you to make a call faster by just pressing a corresponding number.
Enter Menu < Contacts >– < Speed Dial >.
Select an unused Speed Dial number, then press [ OK ] or select < Options > -
< Assign >, assign the number you want.
Memory locations 1 to 99 should be used for your most frequently used phone

numbers.
Note: You can only select the speed dial contact from the phone contacts.
4.8 Lock the keypad
Press [ Left Soft ] key then press”*”to unlock the keypad.
Note: When keypad is locked, you can still answer an incoming call.
5. Main Menu
5.1 Message
Text message and voice mailbox become available in the handset.
5.1.1 New Message
Allow you to send a text message. If there is any interruption by a call while
composing a message, message automatically will get saved in the Drafts.
1). Select < Menu > - < Message > - < New Message >.
2). Type your message then press [ OK ].
3). Entering the phone number where the message is to be sent.
You can add up to 10 recipients.
Select < Options >:
Symbol: Choose the symbols, which have full-width and half-width symbols symbols,
symbolic expression.
Entry mode: Choose the input pattern, which has , T9En , AbC, ABC, 123 modes.
Send: Use to send the message.
Save: Save the message to the draft box.
Insert template: Insert the mobile phone system in the message template.
Insert number: Insert the contact number.
Priority: Set message low or high.
Save Sent Msg: Set save sent Msg on or off.
5.1.2 Inbox
Received text message and page message may be searched, and the contents may
be viewed. Received message are sorted in an order of urgent unread message, unread
message and read message.
1). Select < Menu > - < Message > - < Inbox >.
2). After selecting the desired message with [ Up ]/[ Down], press[ OK ] to view the
message.
Select < Options >:
Reply: Reply to this message.
Forward: Forward a received message to others.
Call: Make a call to sender.
Edit Before Call: Edit the phone number before you make a call.
To Inbox: Move or copy the selected message from the UIM card to the Inbox.
To UIM Card: Move or copy the selected message from the Inbox to the UIM
card.
Save Address: Save the number of Message’s Sender to Contacts.
Extract URL: It can extract the text content of the web site.
Delete: Delete the selected message.
5.1.3 Outbox
Sent and unsent text message can be saved, and the contents may be viewed.
5.1.4 Voice Mail
Voice mail notification indicates the quantity of new voice mail message in your
mailbox. Only the recent voice mail notification will be stored in your phone, previous

message will be overwritten.
Note: Check with service provider for availability of this feature.
5.1.5 Drafts
Message failed in transmission may be stored here.
After selecting the desired message with [ Up ]/[ Down ]; press[ OK ] to
view the message and enter to the process for Send Message.
5.1.6 Templates
There are 9 predefined phrases in the Templates. You may edit the templates and
add new templates.
5.1.7 Recipient Groups
Allow you to change Group Name. You may send a message by Group.
Select your desired Group using [ Up ]/[ Down ].
5.1.8 Delete Message
You can delete all stored message from different folders and make them
empty. The folders include Phone, Outbox, UIM Card, Draft.
5.1.9 Message Settings
You can customize your phone’s message facility according to your
requirement by configuring various options i.e. Priority, Delivery ACK, Validity
Period, Save Sent Message, UIM Inbox Lock, Auto Scroll Timer, Auto Delete Inbox,
Msg Reminder, Save Location.
Priority: When sending a message, you can select the default Low or High.
Delivery Ack: Allow you to select delivery acknowledgement with your
message.
Validity Period: Allow you to select the validity time with your message.
Save Sent Message: With this feature on, message are automatically saved in
the Outbox after transmitted.
UIM Inbox Lock: Lock the Archive for your privacy, if you want to enter the
menu archive in UIM, you need to input lock code. Default lock code is 0000
Auto Scroll Timer: When view the details of message, if message contents
are more bigger than screen’s, the content display will be scrolled with the scroll
timer.
Auto Delete Inbox: With this feature on, the latest message is automatically
erased in the inbox when the number of inbox message is up to the max quantity.
Signature:you can choose None or Custom.
Msg Reminder: when receive the new message and don’t operate anything,
the phone will remind you.
Save Location:You can save the message in Phone or UIM Card.
Callback Number:You can make the callback number enable or disable.
5.1.10 Memory Info
Allow you to view the available memory in Phone, Outbox, UIM Card and
Draft.
5.2 Contacts
Keep records of your contacts, search, add, modify or delete.
5.2.1 Add New
You can store multiple contact details under a name: Group ID, Mobile Number,
Office Number, Home Number, Other Number, E-mail address and Note.
Input the details, press Select key to save the new contact.
5.2.2 Search
To find phone numbers you have stored in the Phone.
1. Select Menu > Contacts > Search.
2. You can search the contact as following:
1) Press [ Up/ Down ] to scroll through your Contacts alphabetically.
2) Enter full or initial character of contact name.
3) Enter full or part number of contact phone number
3. Select the contact, press Select key and choose View to view.

5.2.3 Groups
Allow you to change Group Name. You may assign Ring Tones by Group.
Select your desired Group using [ Up ]/[ Down ], then press[ Left Soft ] key
< Options >, you can Add new members, Set Ring Tone and Rename.
5.2.4 Speed Dial
Speed Dial allows you to make a call faster by just pressing a corresponding number.
Select an unused Speed Dial, then press [ OK ] or select < Options > - < Assign > ,
assign the number you want.
If you have already set up more than two shortcut dials, in < Options >, you can
Assign, Delete All.
5.2.5 Delete
Allows you to find and delete contact saved in Phone or in UIM Card.
5.2.6 My Number
Allow you to view and edit your phone number.
5.2.7 Memory Info
Check the capacity of contacts you have stored in the UIM card or in the phone’s
memory
5.3 Call Manager
Call Manager maintain all types of call details and allow you to set Call Setting
s (answer mode, call waiting, call forward etc), show call duration and allow you
to delete call history.
5.3.1 Dialed
Allow you to view list of all Dialed Calls.
1. Press [ Left Soft ] key < Options >, View / Message / Edit Before Call /
Save / Delete / Delete All appear on the screen.
5.3.2 Received
Allow you to view list of all Received Calls.
For details, refer to [4.16.1].
5.3.3 Missed
Allow you to view list of all Missed Calls.
For details, refer to [4.16.1].
5.3.4 Note In Call
Allows you to view of quick note (number only) which saved during the call.
While a call is in process, press [ Left ] key to save a Call note.
5.3.5 Call Duration
Allow you to view the duration of selected calls.
1. Press [ Up/Down ] to highlight the list of calls
2. Press [ Left Soft ] key < Reset > to clear call duration one by one.
5. 3.6 Delete History
Allow you to erase call from different folders and make them empty.
1. Select the item (Received/Missed/ Dialed) to erase, then press[ Left Soft ]
key < Select >.
2. Select < Yes >, then press [ OK ] .
5.3.7 Call Settings
Answer Mode: Allow you to determine how to answer an incoming call.
Call Forward: Allow you to configure the call forward service which diverts
incoming calls to a user-specified number.
Call Waiting: Allow you to configure the call waiting service which holds
incoming calls that you can answer or not.
Voice Privacy: Use an encrypted high security line so that others can not
eavesdrop on your conversation, or use a standard line.
Clear Voice: You can cut down the noise around when you are making a call.

Audio Automatic Gain Control:you can choose on/off.
Call Connect Alert: With this feature on, you will hear the reminding sound
when the mobile connect to the mobile station during the originating call.
Int'l Call Prefix: Set the international call access code to Manual or
Automatic, then long press “0” shall serve as “+” .
1. Set Manual / Automatic with [ Up ]/[ Down ], then press [ OK ].
2. Edit the access code you want in Manual Mode, then press < Save >.
Auto Answer: You can set this function on/off.
Reject number: You can set reject number.
5.4 UC Browser
The UC browser is used in this phone.
5.5 Camera
Take photo
Allow you to take a photo.
1. Select < Take Photo > to activate the camera.
2. Press [ Left ] key < Option >, select ( / / ) with [ Left ]/[ Right ]
key,press[ Up ] /[ Down ], to select the item, then press [ OK ] to confirm.
3. Press [OK] key to take a photo.
: Set the resolution of the photo for 640X480 or 320X240 pixels.
: Adjust the brightness of the image which the camera gets.
: Enter into the album.
NOTE: Only when the photos are saved in the folder named “Images” in your
T-flash card, the handset could show these pictures in the File Manager ->T-Flash.
General album
You can see the photos list.
Restore Default Settings
In this function, you can set the camera to factory settings.
5.6 Music
1. Press < Select >, enter into Music Box ，Mp3 Settings.
2. Enter into Music Box, select one Mp3 which stored in My Music of T-Flash
card, then press [ Options ], select the (Play/Rename/Set as ringtone/Delete/
Delete All/send by BT), then press [ OK ] to confirm .
3. When MP3 is playing, press [Option], you can select Hide to play MP3 in the
background. And you can select Repeat Settings, and set MP3 as ringtone.
4. When MP3 is playing, press “*” key to turn up volume, press”#” to turn down
volume. press [left] key to switch to the previous song, press[right] key to switch to the
next song, press OK key to stop playing the song, then press OK key to continue to play
the song, and press [down] key to return to the MP3 Box interface.
NOTE: The folder name in T-flash card for playing mp3 in the phone shall be “My
Music”. If you store mp3 in the folders with different names, you can’t play them in the
phone. The following way is how to add MP3 songs:
1. Power off the handset, insert the T-flash card in the mobile, lock properly.
2. Power on the handset, connect the handset with PC by USB data cable. Select
Menu > Extras > U Disk>Connect.
3. Copy mp3 files from PC into the folder named “My Music”.
4. Press [Left Soft] key to disconnect the phone with the PC.
5. Select Menu > MP3 Player > Music Box, then you can play MP3.

5.7 Images
You can view the photos ,set it as a wallpaper, Delete or Delete all,or send
it by BT to other.
5.8 FM Radio
When you want to play FM Radio.
1. Access to Radio
You can enjoy radio broadcasting through this phone.
Select < Menu > - < FM Radio > on the idling screen, press [Right Soft]
key to choose FM Radio icon then press OK key to enter FM Radio.
2. Selecting a Channel
When the radio is switched on, the default channel or the channel you
listened to last time is selected. Press [ Up ] /[ Down ] to change to the next
channel and press [ Left ]/[ Right ] to adjust the volume. You also can press the
number key to switch to different channel.
3. Listen to the Radio
Select < Hide > to play radio in the background.
Select < Options > to select Switch Off, Record, Edit
Channel, Auto Scanning, Reset, Reset All.
Switch Off: Turn off the radio, and back to previous screen.
Record: Make a record while FM Radio is playing.
Edit Channels:
Edit the selected channel’s name and channel frequency.
Auto Scanning: Search for all available channels automatically and save the
channels by pressing [ OK ].
Reset: Reset the selected channel to default frequency.
Reset All: Reset all channels to default frequency.
NOTE:
1.If you set the ring tone or adjust the volume in Volume Setting while the radio is
on, the radio will stop playing until you finish setting.
2.When there is an incoming call, the radio will stop automatically until the call is
over.
3. The voice records will be stored in the folder named Records in the T-Flash card.
5.9 Recorder
Record New: Record the voice.
Voice Records: Play the saved voice record. You also could rename and delete
the voice records in the options.
In addition to the above features, it also includes stopwatch, calculator and world
clock functions.
5.10 U Disk
Allow you to use the phone as a U Disk when the T-flash card is inserted in
the phone. Connect the phone and a compatible PC correctively with the USB
Data Cable, select < Connect >.

You can set three alarm time by this mobile phone. After you set the alarm
time, the icon will be displayed on the screen.
Snooze Function
When the alarm rings, press Snooze key to stop the alarm for 5/10/15mins,
press Stop key to stop the alarm.Scheduler keeps your agenda convenient and
easy to access. Simply store your appointments and your phone alerts you with a
reminderat the time you set.

How to use buttons:
[ Navigation] Key: Move cursor to the left, right, up or down.

Allow you to input your schedule.
1. Select the date, then press [ OK ].
2. Select < Option > - < Add >.
3. Enter your schedule information including: Date, Memo, Set alarm and time.
4. Press [ OK ] to save the schedule after you finish setting.

Note: Before you click "Add", select the device which you want to pair with in
the paired device list. Enter the password to match. Random password is
available when the pair is between the phones, and the default password is "0000"
when the phone needs to pair with a Bluetooth Headset.

5.22 Profiles
Customize the phone's profiles.
5.22.1 General
Set the phone profile mode to general mode.
Select the < General >, then select < Edit > to set the details in General mode.
1) Ring Alert
Allow you to select the alert type for an incoming call.
·Ring Type
Choose the ring type to remind you when there is a new incoming call.
·Ring Tone
Select a tone between Default and Downloaded ring tones. When there is a new
incoming call, the selected tone is played.
2) Message Alert
Allow you to select the alert type for a new incoming message
·Message Type
Choose the alert type of reminding when receiving a new message.
·Message Tones
Select a message tone, when receiving a new message, the selected tone is played.
3) Volume Setting
Choose a Volume sub-menu and press [ Left ]/[ Right ] to adjust the volume
of different modes, then press [ OK ] to confirm.
4) Service Alert
Allow you to set the system service alert On or Off.
5.22.2 Silent
Allow you to set the phone profile mode to silent mode.
5.22.3 Vibrator
Allow you to set the phone profile mode to vibration mode.
5.22.4 Flight
Set the phone to Flight mode On or Off. On Flight mode, users can not make calls
or send message, and the phone disconnects with mobile station.

Wallpaper:Allow you to choose different kinds of background to be displayed
on the screen.
Time
Allow you to choose the mode of clock to be displayed on the standby screen.
Brightness
Allow you to view the time as 12 Hours Style or 24 Hours Style LCD Brightness
You can choose different brightness of LCD display.

LCD Backlight
Screen and buttons are lighted for a designated length of time, allow you to use your
mobile phone in the dark with convenience.
5.23.2 Phone Settings
Language
You can select the phone language between English and Spanish.
Key Lock
Enable this function, and the keypad will be locked automatically when the
standbyscreen turns off.
Version info
You can view the name of the mobile phone, the S/W, PRL and H/W version.
5.23.2 Security
You must key in Lock Code to enter the Security Setting. The default Lock Code is
0000.
Phone Lock:Keep your phone from unauthorized use. Select Lock Mode, the
options are (Off/Now/On Power Up).
1. Select Now, the phone will be locked immediately. You need to key in the correct
Lock Code to activate the phone.
2. Select On Power Up, the phone will be locked after powered on, and you need to
key in the correct Lock Code to activate the phone.
Note: The continuous wrong inputs of the Lock Code wouldn’t lock the UIM card.
When the handset is locked, input ”0000” to unlock the phone.
Change Phone Code: Allow you to change to a new four-digit lock code number.
For confirmation, your phone will prompt you to enter the new lock code twice.
Reset Factory Settings
Reset all settings to the default options.
Reset all items in the phone. (Delete all contacts, all messages, internal gallery
photos and other records in the phone)

records in the phone are backuped before you reset factory settings.
