Safety First
~ Adult supervision is recommended.
- Drive your vehicle in a safe area away from people, pets, cars, etc. Not in streets, in or near water, or in darkness!
- Don’t touch or try to pick up vehicle when it is in motion. Wait until it stops completely. Never pick up by the wheels.
- Keep hair, fingers, face and loose clothing away from wheels while the vehicle is switched on or while the transmitter
is operating.
- Be a responsible Freestyle”I RaceKartTM operator!
DO NOT RUN VEHICLE IN WATER OR RAIN—WARRANTY WILL BE VOIDED
Batteries and Charger Required
1. 9,5-Volt Rechargeable NiCd Battery Pack (included).
2. Matching Battery Charger (included). (Adult supervision of recharging is recommended)
3. One 9—Volt Alkaline Battery for Transmitter required (included, not rechargeable).
IMPORTANT BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
BATTERY CAUTIONS
- Make sure the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity and follow the toy and battery manufacturers'
instructions.
' Do not mix old and new batteries.
. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbonatncl, or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride) batteries, or
different types of rechargeable batteries.
- Remove weak or exhausted batteries from the product. Remove batteries from product when not in use.
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
- An adult should help with battery replacement.
‘ Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended in the "Battery Installation" (or replacement)
instructions are to be used.
- Nonvrechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before they are charged.

Battery Installatinn
1. Push HANDLE on BATTERV LID firmly
towards center oi vehicle to unlock. (Fig. I)
2. Lift Off BATTERY DOOR. (Fig. 2)
3. Insert freshly charged BATTERV PACK into
BA'I'I'EHY COMPARTMENT. (Fig 3)
4. Plug BA‘ITERV PLUG into VEHICLE JACK as
shown and place PLUG/JACK/WIRE so they're

Transmitter Battery installation
1. Slide open BATTERY DOOR on back of
TRANSMITTER (Fig. 6).
2. Insert a fresh, new S-VOLT ALKALINE
BATTERV with the polarity (+/-l as shown on
the bottom cl battery compartment (Fig 7).
3. Hold battery in place with thumb and slide
battery door all the way closed to secure
battery. (Fig, 8).
Transmitter Features and Operation
1. Left stlck: Push up to go forward. Release to coast. Pull down to brake or go in reverse.
Tip: "Pulse" the left stick Irepidly move up-releese-up-velease) for extra steering control.
2. Right stick: Push left for Left Turn, right for Right Turn, Release to go straight.
3. Antenna: Hold Transmitter so antenna points straight up in the air.
Don't touch the antenna during operation.
Note: There IS no on/ofl switch on Transmitter. Moving the sticks turns
it on. Releasing the sticks turns it off (to save battery power). LEFT

IMPORTANT: DRIVER MUST BE SEATED PROPERLV FOR PROPER OPERATION, LOW IN VEHICLE, MAKING SURE HANDS, FEET AND
CLOTHING DO NOT TOUCH WHEELS OR GROUND.
1. Seat Driver in seat.
2. Snap HOLES on bottom of Driver's SHOES all the way over POSTS on PEDALS. lFig. ‘lOl
3. Push Driver's HANDS all the way onto STEERING WHEEL as shown, (Fig. 11)
Operation
‘I. Slide RaceKart POWER SWITCH to ON positlon. (Fig. 12)
FOR BETTER HANDLING AND SHARPER TURNS, "PULSE" THE LEFT STICK BV RAPIDLV MOVING IT UP-RELEASE-UP-RELEASE
REPEATEDLV TO REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF POWER GOING TO THE WHEELS.
Note: Turn power switch oil whenever possible to save batteries.
2. If vehicle steers slightly to one side when you release the right stick to go straight, turn the TRIM ADJUSTER on the bottom in the
opposite direction, a little at a time. (Drive vehicle away lrorn you to test.l Repeat if necessary. (Fig. 13)

Troubleshooting Guide
Don’t take your Freestyle hacekart'M back to the storwtry solving problems using this valuable guide,
~ Recharge vehicle battery,
- Replace transmitter battery.
- Remove and replace batteries, making sure battery
direction (polarity, s/~t is correct and battery compartment
contacts, plug and socket are clean.

' Recharge 9.5V battery pack and/or replace 9V alkaline
battery in transmitter,
. Fully tighten and extend antenna and Dolnt up in the alt,
not at vehicle. Don't touch antenna.
