Slide display stand ❸outof tube.4.Turn display stand over.Use screwdriver toremove the 2 screws ❹and remove vehicle fromstand. DISCARD SCREWSIMMEDIATELY.5. Carefully slide antenna ❺out of stand and screwantenna onto transmitter.II.BATTERY INSTALLATION(Transmitter & Vehicle)1. Push battery doors openin direction of arrow.2. Vehicle & transmitterrequire 2 AA (LR6) alkalinebatteries each. Install withpolarity (+/-) as showninside battery compart-ment.3. Close battery doors.III.BATTERY INFORMATION• Bent or dirty contacts mayresult in loss of power.• If battery does not fit cor-rectly, gently bend backmetal contact as shown indiagram.• Insure that battery polarityis correct. • Use only batteries of thetype recommended (orequivalent).• Do not mix old and new batteries.• Do not mix alkaline, stan-dard (carbon-zinc), orrechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.• Remove used-up batteriesimmediately. • Remove batteries if vehiclewill not be used for a longperiod.• For best performance usealkaline batteries. Batterylife may vary depending onbattery brand.• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.• Do not short-circuit terminals.• Remove rechargeable batteries before recharg-ing. Recharge batteriesonly under adult supervi-sion.IV.OPERATION1. Your transmitter has anautomatic ON feature.Just turn vehicle ON. Thenpress any transmitter button to run and controlvehicle.2.
