GettInG Started3Step 1: UnpackInGMake sure you nd the following pieces in your iRoam package:the iRoam transmitterthe iRoam receiverPlus:•  Combo USB/standard power adapter cable•  3.5mm stereo audio cableStep 2: dockInGPlug the iRoam transmitter’s dock connector into your iPod’s 30-pin connector. iPod is a registered trademark of Apple Inc.ME N U
GettInG Started4Step 3: connectInG to YoUr StereoRCA stereo input jacks3.5mm cableAC power adapter1.   Connect the provided 3.5mm stereo cable to the Audio Out jack on the iRoam receiver.2.   Connect the red and white plugs on the other end of the 3.5mm stereo cable to your stereo’s audio input jacks—make sure you match the plug colors with the jack colors (red to red, white to white).Step 4: powerInG the receIver1.   Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN power supply jack on the receiver’s back panel.2.   Plug the adapter into an electrical outlet.Important: This power unit is intended to be correctly oriented in a vertical or oor mount position.
GettInG Started5Step 5: LInkInGThe iRoam dock and receiver usually link automatically once you’ve docked your iPod and plugged in the receiver. A solid blue LED on the dock and the receiver indicates that the two pieces are linked. If you get a blinking blue LED on the dock and/or receiver, try the following steps to link the two manually:1.   Take the iRoam dock and iPod next to the receiver—keep the dock and iPod connected.2.   Find the LINK buttons on the back panel of the receiver and on the side of the dock.iRoam dock, side viewiRoam receiver, back panel3.   Press and hold the LINK buttons on the receiver and dock for 5 seconds. The blue LEDs on each blink while the two pieces are linking. These LEDs stay solid blue when the two have linked.Now you’re ready to enjoy music from your iPod over your home stereo with no wires attached! Just use your iPod like you normally would to select songs, playlists, etc. And enjoy!Step 6: powerInG YoUr Ipod (optIonaL)You can use the iRoam’s transmitter to charge your iPod. Just connect the USB mini-connector end of the provided USB adapter cable to the USB jack on the side of the dock. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not provided). Then, plug the USB power adapter into a wall outlet.

addItIonaL InformatIon7care and maIntenanceDo not open the dock or receiver. There are no user-servicable parts inside. Do not allow moisture to enter either unit. Moisture will corrode the inner electronics. To clean the dock or receiver, wipe gently with a dry cloth. troUBLeShootInGThe following troubleshooting guide takes you through some of the more common problems associated with installation and/or operation. If a problem persists, please call toll-free 1-800-732-6866 or visit www.araccessories.com. No sound •  Make sure the iRoam receiver’s AC adapter is fully inserted into the wall outlet and the power cord from the AC adapter is rmly connected to the receiver’s power input jack.•  Check that your iPod is playing music as it normally should—plug in your headphones to make sure.•  Conrm that the receiver LED is solid blue. If the receiver LED is ashing blue, the receiver is not tuned to the dock. Press the link key on the dock and on the receiver’s back panel to link them.•  Check that your stereo’s volume is turned up.•  Make sure your iPod’s volume is set high enough for the dock to detect. Interrupted sound•  Move closer to the receiver with the dock and iPod in your hand. Sending the signal through certain materials, such as glass, tile, and metal, can decrease the effective transmitting distance of the system.LEDs fail to light up•  Make sure the dock is properly connected to your iPod. Then, move closer to the receiver and see if the dock and receiver link. If they don’t, press the link key on both simultaneously. Sound stops automatically•  Check the LED the dock. If it’s blinking, the receiver has lost the dock’s signal. Move closer to the receiver. If you don’t see the LED, you need to charge your  iPod using the USB power adapter.
12 month LImIted warrantYAudiovox Electronics Corporation (the “Company”) warrants to the original retail purchaser of this product that should this product or any part thereof, under normal use and conditions, be proven defective in material or workmanship within 12 months from the date of original purchase, such defect(s) will be repaired or replaced (at the Company’s option) without charge for parts and repair labor.
