1. On the back of the remote, push down on the cover and slide it off,

Programming The Remote Control
The minute is already programmed to control most RCA, GE, and
PROSCAN branded components; it may need to be programmed to
contml other manufacturers' brands.

a VCR, point the remote at the VCR, and puss the van key. Then press

There are two ways to program the remote control: Automatic Code
Search or Direct Entry

locate the enclosed TV Code List. Find
your brand of TV.
Press and hold the TV key
Enter a code hunt the code list.
Release the TV key, and then press
ON-OFF to see it the TV responds to

If you get no response, repeat these steps
using the next code listed for your brand

Using The Remote To Control A Component

Changing The RF Remote Control Code
Your remote control is equipped with Rl’ functionality. This means
that the rcmnte can control the digital satellitc rccctver using botli lR
(mtraredi signals and RF (radio frequencvl signals it it is equipped with
an RF reccivcr IR signals mauirc lino-of-sight to the receiver's front
panel rcrnote sensor. RF signals can control the receiver from oiher
parts of your house, even through walls. lmtalling your RF remote
