Getting Started
INTRODUCTION
CAUTION: When using PoMMeS, there are basic safety instructions that should always be followed. Refer to the
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS provided with this product and save them for future reference.
WARNING: To prevent fire or electrical shock hazard, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.
Your PoMMeS is designed to access to a wide variety of content and applications from your service center. To get
the most from your new PoMMeS, we suggest that you take a few minutes right now to read through this user’s guide.
Your PoMMeS provides with the following main features:

VoIP Video calls

Online services
Web services
IMPORTANT: Please check with your service center for service availability and compatibility with this device.
CAUTION
RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE.
DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Changing the Battery
CAUTION:
1. Make sure the tablet is OFF.
2. Remove the battery compartment door.
3. Plug the battery pack cord into the jack inside the compartment.
NOTE: To ensure proper battery installation, the connector is keyed and can be inserted only in one way.
Important: Battery to properly charge (for 6 hours) prior to first use or when you install a new battery pack. If you
do not properly charge the phone, battery performance will be compromised.
4. Put the battery compartment door back on.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION
Installation of PoMMeS require proper setup of BRM for the connection to your service center, please consult
your service hotline for details.
Never install PoMMeS jacks in wet locations unless the jack is specifically designed for wet locations.
Use with care, never drop the main unit to the floor as it would cause hazardous damage to the LCD and the
main units.
User has to take care well to the LCD touch screen as LCD will damage if user is improperly using the touch
screen.
Never touch non-insulated wires or terminal, unless the line has been disconnected at the network interface.
Use caution when installing or modifying PoMMeS network setting.
Your services center will not be responsible for damages not caused by component defect.
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
Properly charge up the main unit for 6 hours. Charge LED would change from orange to green.
Install PoMMeS near both BRM.
Avoid sources of noise, such as a window by a busy street, and electrical noise, such motors, microwave
ovens, and fluorescent lighting.
Avoid heat sources, such as heating air ducts, heating appliances, radiators, and direct sunlight.
Avoid areas of excessive moisture or extremely low temperature.
Avoid dusty locations.
Avoid other cordless telephones or personal computers.
Choose the best location to install your PoMMeS multimedia device. Your PoMMeS should be placed on a
level surface, such as a desk or table top.
Wait approximately 60-90 seconds for LCD to display the standby screen. Start-up and initial configuration
of the device is automatic. No action on your part is required. If the standby screen does not appear, or if an
error message is displayed, turn AC power off and on again.
If failure to start up persists, contact your service’s 24-hour fault reporting hotline for assistance.

SET UP
Before using the PoMMeS multi-media device, you need to set up the proper operation conditions.
Please consult your service center hotline for network setup procedure.

Appendix 1: Important Safety Instructions
1. CAUTION: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE
OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Place on firm stable surface. For optimal performance, avoid placing on metallic or reflective surface.
3. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
4. Do not attempt repairs. Contact your service center’s fault reporting hotline for assistance.
5. Avoid spillage of liquids onto the device. In the event of spillage, contact your service center.
6. To clean the device, wipe with damp cloth. Do not use soap or other cleansers.

The battery cover on the rear is an important safety component. Please do not use the product when the cover is not
well positioned. Please contact your dealer if the cover is missing.

This device can only be used in a distance over 20cm between the bodies and this is not a handheld device.
Appendix 2: Troubleshooting
1. Check the item first!
a. Make sure power adapter is plugged securely into the power source.
b. Make sure DC jack is plugged to the Docking.
c. Make sure Main unit is properly charged.
2. Log-on failure? Cannot use Internet TV services?
a. Make sure BRM is powered on.
b. Make sure connection is properly setup.
c. Stay at 1.5 meter distance from the BRM.
d. Power off the unit and power ON again.
e. If problem persist, call service provider hotline for network setup properly.
3. Speaker is muffled?
a. Place unit on flat surface.
b. Place unit around 1.5m from the BRM and away from other electronics devices.
4. Slow response?
a. Delete on messages and memories and reboot the unit again.
5. No response?
a. Reset the unit by unplugging the battery and replug the battery.
b. Re-power on the unit.
c. If problem persist, call service provider hotline for inquiry.

Appendix 3: Qualification Notice
