Switch off your computer and any connected peripheral equipment
Connect the scanner to your computer
Power on the scanner.
Power on your computer.
EPP Model: Connect the cable to the “HOST" input of the scanner and secure the plug with
the screws provlded and connect the other end of cable to the printer socket of your
computer. If you have a printer. disconnect the printer cable from the computer first, Then,
connect your printei to the “PRINTER" connection of the scanner and secure the plugs

Note: To achieve the best performance on your EPP scanner, please set the parallel
port model in the PC BIOS to EPP mode. For more details, please consult your PC
manufacturer or check PC's User’s Manual.

SCSI Model: If you have a standard SCSI card, you can use it instead of the interface card
included in your scanner package. When using the included interface card, please place into
the lSA slot first Then. connect the cable to the scanner and secure the plug With the screws
crowded and connect the other end 01 cable to “IE SCSi port of your computer and secure
the plugs.
