Before you begin, please thoroughly read this user’s guide

1] DREAMLINK DL-2000E ADSL Modem transmits by GDMT and G.LITE to the
PC assigning the bandwidth of 1A5-8Mbps and bandwidth of 32Kbps-640Kbps to
ADSL System installed in smtionso it it possible for High-speed Internet Service.
[I Because DREAMLINK DL-2000E ADSL Modem provides external POTS Splitter
to divide for voice and data. 80 telephone and data Service can be done
simultaneously
[I DREAMLINK DL-2000E ADSL Modem includes Program Down-Loading the self-
tast fundion for user and Service
1.3 Front Panel Description
There are 5 LED signed the status in front of DREAMLINK DL-2000E ADSL
Modem.
The function is as follows.
I] POWER : LED showing that DC Power of +51+12V is supplied in ADSL
Modem.
El ADSL Link : LED lighting in case of link with system installed ADSL
Modem and telephone line is finished.
D ADSL Data : LED in case of transmitting and receiving DATA with ADSL
System installed in telephone office.
D LAN Link : LED lighting in case of link of Ethernet connected between
ADSL Modem and users PC is finished.
D LAN Data , LED lighting in case of data with Ethernet connected between
ADSL Modem and user’s PC is sent and received,
1.4 Back Panel Description
There are power connector and cable in back of DREAMLINK DL-2000E.
The detailed composition is as follows.
1] Power Switch : supply DC power of +5/+12V from ADSL Modem to Power
Adapter used both 110/220V.
D ADSL Porter : Part included ADSL Line Cable(RJ11) between ADSL
Modem and Splitter
D SERIAL Porter : Part included Serial Cable for maintenance of ADSL
Modem.
LAN Porter : 10 Base T(RJ45) is connected to the LAN Port of user’s PC

1.7 Composition and Information of Management menu
When you finish to install DREAMLINK DL-2000E ADSL modem and then supply
the power, first screen of DREAMLINK DL—2000E ADSL modem and menu of
password are displayed in normal display of PC connected to series cable.
In this condition. if you enter the right password . “MMC Main Menu” of
DREAMLINK DL-2000E ADSL is displayed ,
Main menu is composed of [1]System Function, [2]Configuration Function,
[3]Ethemet Function,[4]ATM Function, [5)ADSL Function and [9)Exil. If you
want to select the menu, please input the sub-numben (Ex : 11)

is used in case of upgrading the acting firmware in DREAMLINK DL-2000E
ADSL modem
The upgrade performs TFTP protoeol through Ethernet in PC which is stored
the firmware to be upgrade in DREAMLINK DL-2000E ADSL modem.

When IP address and Subnet Mask are registered, it is possible to access
Telnet, Web Base of HTTP by network, The first Ethernet IP address of
DREAMLINK DL-ZDOOE ADSL is 1921681012 and Subnet Mask Is
255.255.2550.

is composed of [21] Service Type Change, [22] Initial Service and the detail
function is as below.
1.7.2.1 Service Type Change
sets up the service type of DREAMLINK DL-2000E ADSL modem and set up the
one of Bridge, PPPuA, IPOA.
I] Bridged Mode Set up
is the function to set up Bridge Mode of service types of DREAMLINK DL-2000E
ADSL modem.
Service type is “1", ID of VPI /VCI is the number given service provider, PCR
is Peak Cel Rate. After changing the service type, you should reset the modem
