InterferenceInformation



ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttopart15oftheFCCRules.

Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation.Thisequipment

generates,usesandcanradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycause

harmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticular

installation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturning

theequipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures:

 Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.

 Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.

 Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthereceiverisconnected.

 Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp.



Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCCRules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:

(1)Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and

(2)thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmaycauseundesiredoperation.

Privacyofcommunicationsmaynotbeensuredwhenusingthisphone.



ThisdevicecomplieswithIndustryCanadaLicense‐exemptRSSStandard(s).

Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:

(1)Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and

(2)thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmaycauseundesiredoperationofthedevice.

Privacyofcommunicationsmaynotbeensuredwhenusingthistelephone.



equipmentisalabelthatcontains,amongotherinformation,aproductidentifierintheformatUS:AAAEQ##TXXXX.Ifrequested,

thisnumbermustbeprovidedtothetelephonecompany.



b)AnapplicablecertificationjacksUniversalServiceOrderCodes(USOC)fortheequipmentisprovided(i.e.,RJ11C)inthepackaging

witheachpieceofapprovedterminalequipment.



c)AplugandjackusedtoconnectthisequipmenttothepremiseswiringandtelephonenetworkmustcomplywiththeapplicableFCC

Part68rulesandrequirementsadoptedbytheACTA.Acomplianttelephonecordandmodularplugisprovidedwiththisproduct.It

isdesignedtobeconnectedtoacompatiblemodularjackthatisalsocompliant.Seeinstallationinstructionsfordetails.



d)TheRENisusedtodeterminethenumberofdevicesthatmaybeconnectedtoatelephoneline.ExcessiveRENsonatelephoneline

mayresultinthedevicesnotringinginresponsetoanincomingcall.Inmostbutnotallareas,thesumofRENsshouldnotexceed

five(5.0).Tobecertainofthenumberofdevicesthatmaybeconnectedtoaline,asdeterminedbythetotalRENs,contactthe

localtelephonecompany.[ForproductsapprovedafterJuly23,2001,theRENforthisproductispartoftheproductidentifierthat

hastheformatUS:AAAEQ##TXXXX.Thedigitsrepresentedby##aretheRENwithoutadecimalpoint(e.g.,03isaRENof0.3).For

earlierproducts,theRENisseparatelyshownonthelabel.]



e)Ifthisequipmentcausesharmtothetelephonenetwork,thetelephonecompanywillnotifyyouinadvancethattemporary

discontinuanceofservicemayberequired.Butifadvancenoticeisn'tpractical,thetelephonecompanywillnotifythecustomeras

soonaspossible.Also,youwillbeadvisedofyourrighttofileacomplaintwiththeFCCifyoubelieveitisnecessary.



f)Thetelephonecompanymaymakechangesinitsfacilities,equipment,operationsorproceduresthatcouldaffecttheoperationof

theequipment.Ifthishappensthetelephonecompanywillprovideadvancenoticeinorderforyoutomakenecessary

modificationstomaintainuninterruptedservice.



g)Shouldyouexperiencetroublewiththisequipment,pleasecontactforrepairorwarrantyinformation.Iftheequipmentiscausing

harmtothetelephonenetwork,thetelephonecompanymayrequestthatyoudisconnecttheequipmentuntiltheproblemis

resolved.



h)Pleasefollowinstructionsforrepairingifany(e.g.batteryreplacementsection);otherwisedonotalternateorrepairanypartsof

deviceexceptspecified.



i)Connectiontopartylineserviceissubjecttostatetariffs.Contactthestatepublicutilitycommission,publicservicecommissionor

corporationcommissionforinformation.



j)NOTICE:Ifyourhomehasspeciallywiredalarmequipmentconnectedtothetelephoneline,ensuretheinstallationofthis

equipmentdoesnotdisableyouralarmequipment.Ifyouhavequestionsaboutwhatwilldisablealarmequipment,consultyour

telephonecompanyoraqualifiedinstaller.



k)Thisequipmentishearingaidcompatible.


