Step 1: Setting up your Wavespot•Connect one end of the Ethernet network cable to one of the LAN ports (labeled 1-4) at the back of the Router & the other end to your PC or laptop’s Ethernet/LAN port•Connect another Ethernet cable from your modem to the Internet or WAN port (marked in the image beside) at the Router’s back panel•Plug in the bundled DC adapter & power it on. Ensure that the modem is switched on•Ensure that the LEDs on Wavespot’s front panel are lit up as follows:PowerWiFiNetWANLAN•If your Internet supports DHCP, then your PC should already be connected to the InternetQuick Start GuideOverviewStep 1:!Unpack your Wavespot router and set it upStep 2:!Connect to private SSID for wireless Internet access OR connect another Ethernet cable to any one of the 4 LAN ports on the Wavespot router for a wired accessStep 3:!Activate Wavespot
Step 3: Activate your Wavespot•Click on the Activate button on the Wavespot website http://www.wavespot.net•Click the Activate your Wavespot button (in the login page shown beside)•On the next page, choose your location type•Input your MAC ID, as printed at the back of your Wavespot Router•Enter your Wavespot account details•For using Wavespot at home, link your Facebook & Wavespot account. For use at a business location, provide your Facebook Business URL•Read Terms of Services & then click the Activate my Wavespot buttonCongratulations! Your Wavespot router is successfully activated. Now, you can share your Internet bandwidth with your Facebook friends / fans and even earn out of it.Wavespot Factory ConfigurationThe Wavespot Router is shipped with the following default settings:•WAN port is pre-configured to operate in DHCP mode•LAN port has an IP address of 192.168.4.1•“Wavespot” has addresses in the 192.168.4.x series•“Wavespot-Free-Internet” has addresses in the 192.168.3.x series•Press & release the Reset button to reboot the router. For example, if your MAC ID is 01:2E:34:5C:67:R8, the passkey to your“Wavespot” SSID will be 5C:67:R8•After you input the passkey, your device is connected to the wireless network
