PLEASE READ THE TERMS OF THE SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT ("LICENSE") WHICH IS PRESENTED ELECTRONICALLY WHEN ACCESSING THE SOFTWARE. The Neat Company (Neat®) warrants the media on which all software provided by Neat® is recorded and delivered to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of original retail purchase. The Neat software can be returned within 30 days with proof of purchase (original or digital receipt) and only in its original packaging. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ON THE MEDIA INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Machine: The Neat Scanner; Duration: 1 year; Warranty for Machines: The manufacturer warrants that each machine is free from defects in materials and workmanship and conforms to the manufacturers published specifications. The warranty period for a scanner is a specified, fixed period commencing on its date of purchase, as evidenced by your original or digital sales receipt; Extent of Warranty: The warranty does not cover the repair or exchange of a machine resulting from misuse, accident, modification, unsuitable physical or operating environment, improper maintenance or failure caused by a product for which the manufacturer is not responsible. The warranty is voided by removal or alteration of machine parts or identification labels; Items not covered by the warranty: Host computer operating system, application programs other than Neat software or hardware configurations; Return Policy: The Neat scanner can be returned within 30 days with proof of purchase (original or digital receipt) in its original packaging. After 30 days from the original date of purchase, the scanner cannot be returned. The scanner can not be returned if it is damaged as a result of misuse, accident, modification, unsuitable physical or operating environment, improper maintenance or failure caused by a product for which the manufacturer is not responsible.
