Double—sided tape
One 12—Volt alkaline battery
Plastic Plugs (2)
Screws
TOOLS NEEDED:
Small F lat head screwdriver
Small Philips head screwdriver
BATTERY INSTALLATION:

Gently insert screwdriver in small opening on the bottom of doorbell button.
Slightly turn the screwdriver to release the back cover
Install included 12-Volt alkaline battery Be sure battery (+) and (—) terminals
match (+) and (-) contacts shown on doorbell button.
Replace battery covere (Note: If you plan to mount the button transmitter
with screws, please defer this last step until after mounting back cover -
see mounting below)

Plug Doorbell Receiver into any ive" 110~vclt AC outlet not controlled by a
switch
Press Doorbell Button. Receiver should play ing dong” tone. Red light on
Doorbell Button should illuminate if battery is OK.
MOUNTING DOORBELL BUTTON:
Note: Mounting Doorbell Button on aluminum siding or metal door frame may
reduce range. Mount Button with red LED light on top,
1. For tape mounting:
A. Make sure surfaces are free of dust, oil, and other substances that
could affect adhesion.
B. Attach double—sided tape to back of Doorbell Button housing.
C. Press tape firmly to mounting surface.
2. For screw mounting:
A. Place back of Doorbell Button where desired and mark screw
locations.

B For wood surface drill 1/16 pilot holes. For drywall surfaces drill
3/1 6" holes for plastic anchors.
C. Insert screws into holes or drywall anchors in transmitter back cover
and screw into place.
D. Snap transmitter onto back cover by inserting the top first and
pushing the bottom firmly in place.
3. Doorbell Button may also be used as a hand—held pager.
TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS:
PROBLEM: Nothing happens when doorbell Button is pressed.
SUGGESTIONS: Check to see that the Doorbell Button red light illuminates.
Verify that battery is installed correctly. Check that outlet is functioning. Check that
receiver is within 100 ft. operating range of the button.
PROBLEM: Receiver sometimes plays without anyone pressing Doorbell Button.
SUGGESTION: If another Wireless Doorbell system is on the same frequency
nearby, it could accidentally trigger your system. If this happens, consider
purchasing a different Dimango Doorbell which allows selection of privacy codes.
